It sounds to me like Sci-Fi Suspense, but mainly suspense. Like it's a thriller with a touch of romance and sci-fi roots, which is awesome for you because you should be able to market it as all three genres!
I think it's mainly suspense, and more sci-fi than romance, but that's just from the description. You can do whatever you like with it and that's the beauty of it. Promote it as all three genres and you get thrice the readers.
It sounds fascinating, and I can tell you have a real love for it, so that's awesome!

To me, it's 60% Suspense, 30% Romance, and 10% Sci/Fi. I invite you all to read the blurb and let me know what genre you get a feel for.
**NOTE** It's in draft stage, and needs more work. And I know it's still too long (I'm tightening as best as I can:) But let me know what you think:
BODY RESURRECTED:
Sixteen year-old Mira is a spry Egyptian girl from a small village in Lower Egypt 3303 B.C.E. Two visitors from the planet Aut will change her quiet life. The first ship that arrives carries a murderous plague in the name of Demen. The second one that follows, brings a bounty-hunter named Weir. Against her father’s wishes, Mira becomes an accomplice to Weir in his search of Demen before another woman is murdered.
But there’s a problem: Demen is now a powerful Pharaoh in the city of Sharkura. Will apprehending him almost cost Weir and Mira their lives?
Almay, California, USA, twenty-first century:
Tina Leggs, a descendent of Mira, oversees the artifacts and exhibits of the Graham-Arlee museum. She has no idea that the mummy exhibit that’s drawing huge crowds, is the same Demen that her ancestor bravely faced centuries ago.
Demen is no longer a powerful Pharaoh. Now, he’s nothing more than a museum exhibit since he was discovered in the Valley of the Kings. But a rare occurrence will give him life once more. And as he secretly assimilates himself with the new world he wakes up to, his desire to kill the misery known as woman is as strong as ever.
A second bounty-hunter, named Q, is sent from Aut to capture Demen. Like Mira, Tina has been cast into the role of ally to this handsome visitor. Amid the destruction Demen is causing, and the risk to their lives to stop him, they realize their deep love for one another.
