Blame whoever suggested it! I feel I've got more chance of doing this than the series. I hate to think how many I've got current.
This is the one I'll be giving a whirl. It's actually quite a massive list so I believe I'll beat my personal record of books read for the year. I'll post my list when I get it together.
It might help if you strike through the titles you've read so you can clearly see where you are up to.

Guess I might have to go back and do my list.

I did have you in mind, thought it might be easier for you to distinguish. It doesn't take long to add the code bits though.

Paradox!!!!!"
Can we count it twice?

Starting your own thread
At the top of this page, click the green writing saying 'read the group book shelf'.
Then you will be taken to that threads group, as it were, at the top above the list of different threads, there are two choices in the green writing. Edit and new topic. I'm not sure if edit comes up of you aren't a moderator.
Click new topics - new page appears. In the topic box, type the title you want eg. My challenge.
Put a comment in the box, click save/post (can't remember). This comment can be edited by you at any time.
How that helps, otherwise let me know your desired title and I'll start one for you :)

Some do but most of those are first book in series so they don't and/or I've read them.
I made this comment in Margaret's challenge but I moved it here. I'm going for as many as I can this year. If I don't finish, then I'll finish next year. A lot to read and I started with The Dragonbone Chair (massive book) and I just realized that next months book The Curse of the Mistwraith is also a massive book so this may be a little slower then I thought it would be.
Ok, I just need clarification. I usually finish 95% or more of all books I read. However, sometimes I come across books that are just terrible, in my opinion. Wouldn't everyone say that 100 pages is a fair assessment to count books on the bookshelf. If not what would be a fair assessment? I fully intend on reading 100% of every single book, but sometimes books are just bad.

Yea, I want to give books a fair shake without having to slog through. I may be over thinking this.
Don't read anything you don't like, life is too short and there are too many good books.
That said if I'm 100 pages in, I'd probably finish so it counts towards the read in a year and page count. I did try doing the free sample, kindle 5%, and not buying it if I didn't like it but you don't always get enough to decide. And I usually just buy ;)

I think I'll just wing it and if the books just unreadable to me I'll move on.

The idea is that you read books from the group's previous reads, not including 2018!
You can read as many as you like but must read at least 12 to be counted a winner!!
Good luck!
Note: some of us are trying this again, remember you now get to include books from 2017
