Do authors have a separate reader profile?

Some authors have separate reader profiles so they can review anonymously if they wish, but in my experience, the vast majority do not.
I run the largest review group for authors on goodreads and I think less than 1 in 100 authors review under a different name. Its just too much to keep up with.
However, I know one author who has 4 goodreads/amazon 'identities' (2 author ones and two reader ones). She writes in some very different genres and didn't want one (non-fiction) associated with another (erotica).

As long as the reader profile does not rate or review any of their own books, it is not a ToS violation to have both profiles.

Authors should not be using a reader account to promote their works. Please flag these or use the Contact Us link on the Help page to report them.

Glad to know there is something that can be done about that.
The last ones were a few months back. If i get new ones, I will flag them for sure. Thanks. :)
I'm wondering if authors have a separate profile as readers, as well. Ever since I changed my profile to an author's profile, I don't know what link to send to friends where they can add me as a friend - my current link, since it's an author's profile, only has a "follow" button.
I really like some of the features of reader profiles - how they show someone's shelves, for example - and don't want to lose that if possible.
Thanks!
