First Book of 2017! Stayed up after turn of the year, (New York, New York), did some of a tough puzzle with my mother and then kept reading until three in the morning. Less than 5 hours later, woke up and finished it. I can't review it yet, due to a challenge technicality. I'm considering this my January psychological thriller, and I need to wait until after I review the Spy (Paolo Coehlo's novel about Mata Hari), in order to get my three points and self credit. But I will say this. I enjoyed it, and not a bad way to start the year!
Now starting Faithful, by Alice Hoffman, my first giveaway book ever received. And by my favorite author. I have won three giveaways, and I feel the responsibility and gratitude to Goodreads and Amazon to thanks and review them. Will be back home Tuesday Night and by Wednesday, that's my library deadline to pick up held books, and I will be dropping like 5 or 6 of them off. Just in case Faithful doesn't hold me through the plane, I have two books with me left: The Department of Speculation, in real life, face to face, psychology group book club, on January 12th, and Our Souls at Night by Kent Harouf. A blessing for a new year of light and love for all, and of course the joy of discovering worlds and each other through books.
