Anyone doing the GoodReads challenge? What are your reading goals for this new year?

My reading goal is 75 books.

Going for 70! I read 73 last year.

I always aim for reading two books a week so set my goal anywhere between 100 and 110. I try not to count books as read unless they are at least 100 pages, unless they really make me think or stick with me for a long time.

I would be so happy to win the lottery or something and have no obligations except to read. Like the Twilight Zone episode with Burgess Meredith and the end of the world.

I'm aiming for 125 books next year.

I read 355 books in 2016... But for this years challenge I lowered it to 300.

I've set my Goodreads challenge at 60. This year I read 80 so it's definitely do-able. I'm aiming to read books of my TBR shelf and my home bookshelf. I also want to read many of the longer books over 500+ pages. I'm also trying to diversify my reading by reading books written by authors of black, asian or minority ethnicities.

Aiming for 50 this year. I read 60 in 2016 so it should be achievable.

I set my reading goal at 52 books. I want to read two books per week, but realistically I have a lot going on this year so I played it safe.

I didn't do the challenge last year because I was all over the place about tracking books. Plus, my reading suffered with moving and wedding planning. This year, things should be more settled so I set mine at 50. I figure start off slow until I get back to my regular pace.

I'm part of the 52, ie 1 a week, club.

My reading goal for 2017 are 100 books.

My goal is 125 books. So far, I've read 4.

I put in a low number because I usually will not set a goal. My usual goal is to read daily whether the book has 1000 pages or 200 pages.

My goal for a general GR challenge is to read 200 books. I have read 22 todate. Not all of them are HF because I read books in several genres.

I am a pretty slow reader by most standards, but I try to increase my goal a bit each year - for 2017, 40 is my mark.
The challenge for me this year is more about adding diversity to my reads, and selecting genres I would normally not consider: non-fiction, biographies, and even some fun children's stories!
