Fishface | 2011 comments I'm starting to sense a theme here, Selina. What has you reading so many books like this lately? :)

Was doing a permaculture course, but have now graduated! So biographies/memoirs have taken a bit of a back seat lately.

Although my next read may be the one about the quinns also its a true crime as my neighbour was reading it, there were these quintuplets born in my hometown were quite famous but their stepdad murdered their mother?! I dont know. And one of them was named Selina. I thought it might be too gory for me, but my neighbour told me after that happened they all moved away from nz to australia and USA where nobody knew them. Called Stolen Lives: The Untold Stories of the Lawson Quins

Hardball: How Politics Is Played, Told by One Who Knows the Game
3 stars

A bit dated, but fun to look back on the political scene in the early 2000's and how it compares today. This guy has an inside track to some of our most well-known politicians. Published in 1988. I think he needs to publish an updated version. Would love to see his thoughts on GWB, Obama and Trump.

Had a gift certificate for Target so I bought Promise Me, Dad: A Year of Hope, Hardship, and Purpose by Joe Biden. Forgot to use my gift certificate so I guess I get to go back and find something else!
