Crazy for Young Adult Books discussion

XD I will not be able to read the next 3 books this month.. Way too much on my plate. But if you want to you can, and I can find someone else to read the series with :)

It would be 2 books in the next month and a half, since it looks like the 6th one comes out mid-March, but I totally understand if you can't. It's been fun reading with you! :)

Actually that seems doable XD Don't give up on me yet. This one's basically next on my to-read list, I swear. Just got a little book to finish today, and then I'll get stuck into City of Ashes, which could take me a little longer. But after that I'll make this priority.

So I actually think I'll be reading this one as a fill-in between challenges, because I'm trying really hard for a challenge where I need all of my books to have a MP genre of Romance, and this one doesn't. So I'll be reading this book in between me receiving the next task for my challenge. But I'm starting it today :D

Considering it also has so many MP genres, and romance isn't one, that would typically make me happy, but it just means that it doesn't count for the challenge which is really frustrating.

Lol. Too bad it doesn't fit what you need right now! :-/ I haven't gotten book 4 in from the library yet, so the time crunch for me hasn't begun yet :)

Okay I'm gonna ask for another thread to be made in YA BR Corner group, and then would you guys mind copy-pasting your updated over there? Just so I can count it as a br in the monthly challenge. If you're not in that group, then I'll keep on posting here :)

I don't think I'm in that group. I have ordered it, but no worries. I knew it was probably a long shot of you being ready to read it anytime soon. I'd just like to get caught up for when book 6 comes out

I've finished Chapter 4. That's me for a few hours. Might read some more tonight after work, but not too sure. Pleased I made such a dent. I didn't expect to still not have my next task, so I'm pleased haha. These books are so gripping, and so easy to keep reading.

They really are! I could breeze through them in one day each if I didn't have to adult. Jury is still out on V. She may have some redeeming qualities, but it remains to be seen :)

Ah right haha. I've read it quite fast. I'm putting it on pause now, as I've got my challenge task.

I don't remember Warren visiting the pond a lot. He was off on a secret mission trying to track down the sanctuary no one knows about. Kendra was definitely thinking about him a lot though

Just spent allllll day sprinting to read my 400 pages of my book. Managed to finish it, but it means I probably won't read any more of this one between books because by the time I read next I'll have a new task.

Okay so I have NO CLUE when I'll get back to this series :/ I've got a challenge which is constantly pushing me, and my teammates are really putting me down for not only reading for that challenge. I'm behind now, and apparently that's putting them behind, although we aren't versing other teams.. So I just don't know when I'm going to get to this. Sorry.

That sounds pretty stressful :-/ I had a challenge where the next book fit for it, so I've already read it now anyway. And there's another where book 5 works so I'm going to read that one in the next couple days too. It's been nice reading with you! Definitely finish this one when you have a chance. This whole series has been amazing!

Oh man :( I was hoping you'd still post updates and stuff so that they'd count for buddy reads, because this series is hard to find people to buddy with. Mind posting some thoughts on it, so that when I read it you can come back and we can discuss? So we both get those points?

I'm not sure what points you're talking about. And I'm afraid by the time you get around to reading it, I won't remember much of what I was talking about. I can't think of much to say now since I wasn't writing things down as I went along.

The teen librarian at the library I work at got an ARC of the book that comes out this month and gave it to me to read first! It's a book one of a whole sequel series! I'm so excited about it!!
