Chris, this is your thread for 2017. I have included the link to the required format thread and an example. If you had a 2016 thread - it is archived - but you can still add books to it for the last few days of December.

Review: I wasn't expecting another Anastasia story when I picked this one up, or I wouldn't have. It was a nice surprise, in that it was well written and a different take on the usual story.

Review: First in the Molly Murphy mystery series about an Irish girl who escapes Ireland and lands in New York. She becomes embroiled in a murder mystery at Ellis Island. Good detail about turn of the Century immigration to NYC. Fun read!

Genre: Historical Fiction / Romance
Rating: A
Review: Edwardian era Kenya setting with all the bad behavior the colony could engender. An American heiress sent to Kenya to avoid scandal in London and Paris finds happiness with Canadian lion hunter of some repute. A fun read with good descriptions of Africa.

Genre: Historical Nonfiction (Travelogue)
Rating: A
Review: Translated letters of Swiss gentleman who travels to England in 1725. Very descriptive of the early Georgian court manners, dress and activities. Good descriptions of London and its environs. The letters were written in 1720's but not translated until early 20th Century, which made the book very readable.

Mary (maryschumacher) Hi Chris! Here's a quick bit of help for your citations. You have just a couple of items that need fixing.

In message 8, note that "February" should be bold and all caps: FEBRUARY.

In message 9, you'll need to add a colon (:) after Finish date.
