John Cunha Just finished The Winter People by Jennifer McMahon; now midway through Nightfall by Jake Halpern and Peter Kujawinski. Perhaps a little too YA, but it's proving a quick read. (Also, new to this challenge and goodreads in general, so hello from Los Angeles!)

The Winter People is worth checking out. Old Vermont town, strange disappearances, some paranormal happenings, snowstorms, etc. - a solid winter read.

that sounds good. I'm still reading pet semetary and will be squeezing in the tell-tale heart for the classic horror reading challenge.
