History:Jeff is the only child of Tom a archeologist and Karen a paleontologist. he is a latch key kid alone most of the time as his parents are working all the time . Alina is very tall for a girl her age, towering over those around her at a height of 6’1”, with elbow-length sapphire hair (natural hair is black) and stormy grey eyes. Her face is oval shaped with high cheekbones and almond shaped eyes. She has a button nose and soft, thin lips. Her hair is her one feature that is memorable when making a first impression. She loves the color of her hair, but she doesn’t like how much it makes her stand out so she keeps it tied back in ponytail, braid, or bun. She’s been super into space buns since that trend first became popular, and her hair is perfect for it. Her skin is as white as snow with light freckles mapping constellations across her body. She always seems to have dark circles around her eyes no matter how much sleep she gets. She is as lean as she is tall, with very little muscle mass. It’s not that she doesn’t have muscles- because she does- it’s that you can’t see them by just glancing at her. The only direction she ever seems to grow in is up, with her flat stomach, chest, and butt. She looks fragile with her pale skin and skinny frame, but she’s actually tough as nails and always itching for a fight. The only time she really looks beautiful was when she smiles. Her smiles would light up her entire face, but sadly, she rarely ever does it. She rarely wears makeup because she thinks it’s a waste of time, money, and effort, but she will for special occasions. She likes to wear dark, tightly fit clothing. She usually sticks to dark blues and purples, but will occasionally branch out for some contrast in her clothing. A dark top with high waisted jeans or a skirt with stockings and a sweater and combat boots seems to be her average outfit for school. She enjoys wearing accessories that accentuate her love of space and the stars. When she wants to look nice, she’ll wear her hair down, makeup, and the more colorful and less grungy end of her closet.

Alina is quiet with a tendency to stick to the shadows that hides just how intelligent she is. She is very good at blending into the background, which helps her people watch and gather information (for sabotage, if that ever becomes necessary. Kids are mean.). When people talk to her, she has two initial responses: 1. Act like her normal, kind self, or 2. makes herself seem like someone they'd want to help, which helps her get what she wants. Meaning she uses subtle manipulation to get her way. When she is starting a new school year, teachers tend to look past her but they eventually notice that she’s one of the most clever kids in her class. She never willingly chooses to answer questions in class but will have one of the most seamlessly eloquent essays and projects. She’s stubborn to the point that it can be inconvenient for her and never forgets when someone has wronged her. When she’s arguing with someone, it’s either her way or the highway, even if she’s wrong. She always seems to be listening to what happens around her, so when someone says something unpleasant to her, she has a quick retort. She uses her intelligence to help her goals become reality. She has a cold shell and is unwilling to trust, but once she has warmed up to someone, she is a friend for life. She cares for the safety of her friends, but she puts herself first every time. Once someone has done something to get on her bad side, she shows no mercy. It takes almost too much effort to get into her good graces again. She has spent most of her life learning how to lie perfectly, and she has no problem lying to practically anyone. Ethically speaking, she is a very untrustworthy and, quite frankly, bad person. She has a tendency to turn verbal altercations into physical ones, but she wouldn’t dream of getting into a fight at a school setting where she could get into trouble. History:
Alina was born on a chilly October day in Wisconsin in 2001. From birth, Alina looked up to her older brother, Chris. Her and the rest of her family lived in a small town in an even smaller apartment, but they were happy. Her father, Daniel, worked in a furniture building warehouse, and her mother, Malyssa, worked in a local diner as a waitress by day and in a bar at night. They didn’t have much, but Alina was content with what she did have. Everything changed for them when Daniel died in a fire at his warehouse when Alina was 7 years old. Malyssa turned away from raising her two young children and turned toward drinking. Neither Chris nor Alina knew how to take care of themselves, but they learned very fast. Somehow, Chris got a job working as a busboy in the diner Malyssa was supposed to be working at. Alina would do the household chores and Chris was in charge of cooking, shopping, and working. Alina’s home life was very hard, and her school life wasn’t much better. Her classmates bullied her because she was different and quiet. She taught herself how to hide in places they wouldn’t find her so that they would stop teasing her. When she was in a particularly bad mood, she would say something snarky or cold in response to their teasing, but most of the time she kept her mouth shut. Her escape from all of this was through martial arts and fighting. She enjoyed hitting her frustration out of her and into a punching bag or another person. She was already fiercely independent and resourceful because life forced her to be that way.
Eventually, Alina’s grandparents noticed the problems in her household, and they took custody of her and her brother. She was 10 years old when she was shipped off to her grandparents’ house with her brother. Her grandparents were very kind to her and her brother, but she had a hard time warming up to them because they were strangers and she had spent a long time relying on just herself and Chris. Once she finally warmed up to them, they had a very healthy relationship. She treated them as if they were her parents. She continued to learn how to fight until it became a problem for her in high school. She was known as a delinquent, which hurted her chances of staying in the background of life. She never once stopped, because if she did, she was afraid she would have to face her past and she would implode.

History: tae’s mother’s side of the family was purely korean. she married a partial-korean man and had tae with him, but the man wanted tae to have an american name, so they compromised on lane as a middle name. he took his father’s last name, altan. when he was six, however, his too-young father started getting into gangs. he was always a little bit off (on drugs and alcohol), and one night when tae was twelve, he watched his parents get into a final argument. he went to his room to get away from their accusatory voices, and ignored the screaming and blows from downstairs. he was terrified. a day later, the police came. his father had killed his mother, and then died from a drug overdose. he was sent to live with his grandmother. it was hard for her, though, with her daughter dying and her grandson living with her. she barely had enough money to take care of herself. lately, noona’s health has been deteriorating in her old age, but tae is convinced they’ll figure something out. (tbh, though, it cracks him up that she wants him to call her noona. that’s what she insists on, though, and who is a a boy to resist his grandmother?)

His older brother Macon, a tight end in the Washington Redskins. His other brother Dustin is the Quarterback of the University of Michigan and expected to leave college for the NFL Draft next year. Since Jason is the youngest male of his dad's side of the dynasty, many colleges are interested in him, but he hates the fame of being in a sports dynasty family and would rather go pro his though his own skills. From a young age Jonas learned that he had to be perfect, especially in his appearance. Despite the fact that his mother's fame isn't following him at his new school he still has a habit of keeping totally perfectly groomed. His hair is always combed properly and he isn't afraid to admit that he had a very strict skincare routine that he follows. Clothing wise he always dresses casually but cleanly. He likes the sort of James Dean style of black or white shirt and jeans so he wears that style a lot. He does also have a thing for warm sweaters though when he gets cold.

Jonas likes to see the world in the best light. Every cloud has it's silver lining in his opinion. Even when everything sucks and there doesn't seem to be a light at the end of the tunnel he tries his best to remain optimistic. There are just so many clouds in his life that he has to try to be optimistic in order to stay sane. His optimistic outlook on life is not limited to situations but people too. He always believes in trying to see the best in people and hearing their side of the story before assuming anything. If that person really has nothing nice to say that isn't the end of the world either. People can change and everyone should get a second chance at being a good person.
Sometimes I just want to run away and never come back
Being optimistic isn't his only way to deal with problems, he is a total master at avoiding them too. It scares him to face a big problem head on so he just ignores the issue for as long as possible. There are good and bad results that come from this bad habit. On the plus side, it means he is always helping other people with their issues. He loves to solve other people's problems because it means he doesn't have to think about his own. The bad side of it though means that his problems build up until he can't run away from them anymore, and then everything just comes crashing down.

Jonas always has a smile on his face, partly because he's trying to convince himself that he is happy. Partly because he is trying to convince others he's happy. But mostly because that's what he was taught to do as a kid. Smile, because that's what the public wants to see. He is actually a relatively happy kid, but not as happy as he sometimes seems. He loves to make other people laugh or even just smile a little bit.
Quiet, like silence but not really silence. Just that sort of quiet.
Loud and bright is how a lot of people might describe Jonas, and while he is both those things on a regular basis, he also needs his peace and quiet. He is what people might call a "social introvert" he loves to talk to people and be loud but eventually all the energy just drains out of him and he can't stand being around people anymore. It's not like a "I just don't want to talk to anyone for a while." He becomes physically revolted by even the presence of another person. It's hard to explain exactly how he feels but at some point he just hates people more than anything else in the world. At that point he always retreats from social situations and find someplace quiet to just be alone for a while. Needless to say he's going a little bit crazy because he has a roommate and doesn't get any time alone after he comes back to his room after classes. In fact the reason he is at BLA in the first place is because he had a total breakdown at a social event and his mother thought it would be best for him to get away from the media for a while. When he was small enough he learned to hide in the closet by the bathroom, since his mom never checked their and he could get some piece and quiet.
I just want to move on and go somewhere where I have my own voiceThe last important thing about Jonas is that he is a hard worker. He chose to go into medicine at BLA because no one else in his family has done that. With every moment of his spare time, he works like crazy. He wants to be successful on his own terms. He wants to get into an amazing university without using his name or his mother's money to do that. He just wants to do something for himself for once in his life, and school offers him that opportunity. This is all part of his constant struggle for independence from his mother and her fame.

I was famous for just being . Where is the honor in that?
Jonas was born to be famous. It wasn't his choice, he did nothing to be famous, he was just born into it. Jonas's mother, Susanne is a hugely famous actress and when Jonas was born, he was the front page of every magazine. In fact, he was famous before he was even born. An exact nine months before he was born was actually when he became famous. Blessed with the good genes from his stunning mother and less famous, but still handsome father, he soon began his own career in acting. By the age of 2 months he had already made his debut on the movie screens and things only got better (or worse in his opinion) from there.
Those who fear the darkness have no idea what the light can do.
By the time Jonas turned 7 he was starring on Disney channel, in movies and every other opportunity his mother could fit him into. He was a rising star according to the media, and should be treated as such. With his already famous parents the media was always constantly on their tail, reporting every little part of their life. When Jonas became an actor, the constant surveillance only got worse. His entire life was online, in magazines and gossip columns. He couldn't even sneeze without someone reporting on it. Like most kids, he liked it for a while. The fame, the lights, the free stuff, it was all just dazzling. But the sparkle of it wore off very, very quickly. He soon learned to cling desperately onto his time alone and learned how to slip away from bodyguards and paparazzi, even if it was only for a few minutes. he began to pray that one day he would have a normal life. Where he could say whatever he wanted without fear of it ending up on a giant billboard, or the headlines of a newspaper.
I've got to find a way to stop it, stop it, stop it. Just let me out.
Years went by like this. He lived for the media, his every move was for the public. One wrong step and everything his mother had worked for to become so loved would go down the drain. But he didn't want this fame, his mother did and slowly it was destroying him. He became more moody and distant. He began to refuse acting jobs and even swore at a reporter once. The constant feeling of being seen was beginning to get into his head and he couldn't handle it much longer. He kept telling his mother that he needed to get away for a while. When that didn't work, he turned to his father who was much more lenient and begged him to try and convince his mom. But once Susanne had her mind made up, there was no changing it. So for another 6 months, he continued to live the life of the famous. He tried to smile through it, but he knew that one day he was going to break.
I told them one day I would snap, but they kept bending me anyways
But 6 months later, Jonas snapped. It was at a party. Beyonce was there, one of the Kardashians was there and it was one of the most important social parties of the year. Jonas had tried to pretend to be sick but his mother had seen right through it and forced him to come to the party. Everything was going okay, Jonas was just trying his best not to burst out crying every time someone spoke to him. But other than that, he was surviving. That was until one of his co-stars from an old Disney show came up and started chatting with him. She was a total chatterbox and would not stop talking. Eventually he just couldn't handle it anymore and everything just blurred around the edges and he leaned forward and slapped her. Not hard, but a slap non-the less. After that he started crying for seemingly no reason at all. After that, it only took 36 hours for him to be packed off and sent to BLA. No media followed him there and he was supposed to stay there until his mother deemed that he could come back to L.A again.

She has a little bit of a draw but, since her grandparents and mother spoke French in the house, she caught on to the French accent. The accent is pretty faint and only comes out when she is angry. Dee could get angry at someone when they insult another person or when they talk about hunting in a messed up way. She adores Bruce and will bring him anywhere with her, no matter what. So, if anyone would get in her way of having him with her, she would get upset, but won’t lash out at them. She would just stand there definitely until she leaves or they let her in.
History: Her mother took her to America when she was just 1 year old, leaving her father behind. They were the only ones who could move to the states due to some complications. They moved in with her mom’s parents on a remote ranch located in the outskirts of Tennessee. There, Dee became a country girl but still knew about her past. Mother died of cancer when she was 10 and her grandparents raised her.
Desiree has a service dog for her panic attacks. She gets too overwhelmed and Bruce, a chocolate lab, helps her calm down and can go get someone when she has an attack. Bru has been there for her ever since her mother passed away and was only a puppy when she got him. He was trained as he grew up and quickly learned how to help her out.
Dee has had a rough past where she saw people get hurt over horrible things occurring in their lives and she thinks that always putting others first will be helpful. It will, but, sometimes, not for her. She got overwhelmed one day when this one guy wouldn’t stop yelling at her. He told her to stop being so nice and she panicked. That is when she had her first panic attack. This event happened two years after her mother passed away, so Bruce was there to help her get through this new thing that entered her life. Since then, she has only had one attack during a horrible thunderstorm where she had to hide in a “safe house” as she called it when a tornado tore through the other side of town. Her grandfather found out and made sure she knew how to deal with them.
A year after that attack, her grandmother found the Academy. Her grandparents both thought it would be good for her to go and get a better education. Dee was smart and, in their words, “too good for this small town.” So, she applied and was accepted.

Alex's hair is wavy, light brown, his eyes are blue, and his body type can best been described as tall and lanky. At just over 6 feet and only 171 lbs, Alex isn't necessarily imposing, but he isn't exactly a stick, either.
Alex has very little concern for his appearance, in general, and usually opts for comfort over aesthetics. The most common hallmarks of his wardrobe are well worn jeans, loose t-shirts, baggy hoodies and jackets, and boots or Vans.
OTHER MARKINGS: Alex's left eyelid does not open all the way due to an injury from a car accident, though he can see perfectly fine. It's also something he's a little sensitive about.

Alex is a very warm person and tends to be something of a bleeding heart, feeling compelled to right every wrong in the world. Prior to attending BLA, Alex was known for getting into fights, almost always standing up for someone else against bullies. Now, in order to avoid letting his anger get the better of him, he boxes as a hobby to let out that stress. But corner him or insult one of his friends and he's likely to get hostile, quick.
Despite being forced into the business program by his uncle, Alex's true passion is music. While Alex himself aspires to be a rapper, his favorite genre of music is actually old big band music, with his favorite singer being Frank Sinatra.

Alex is a third generation immigrant and perhaps the most defining aspect of his past is his grandfather. A man that Alex both admired and feared growing up, the late Igor Emmich immigrated to the United States in the 20s to escape persecution as an Russian Orthodox priest.
Originally settling in New York City, Alex's father moved to a small city outside of New York after earning his engineering degree. Alex grew up going to family events and learning all about his fmaily history and Russian heritage. As the grandson of a priest, he also grew up quite religious.
Unfortunately, his relatively picturesque family came crashing down shortly after his 14th birthday when a car accident took his mother and father from him. Although he was in the car, Alex sustained only minor injuries and recovered fairly quickly. In the end, Alex was sent to live with his uncle, Alexander.
Over the past 3 years, the 2 have grown to respect one another's differences and find compromises whenever possible. As a wealthy, educated investment banker in NYC, Alex's uncle is pushing him to get involved in business after high school and pressured him to study it at BLA. History: Born to Akari and Leonardo de la Cavallería on a breezy day two years after her older brother Emiliano, she was always an easy baby. She never puked or anything, and cried only when she was hungry. Her older brother, Emiliano (Emil) was always favored by their grandmother out of their grandparents, who they often spent time with when their parents (a nurse and a police) were working the extra hours at night. Her grandfather always favored her, helping her with homework and teaching her more Spanish and some Latin.
When she turned five, her grandpa told her stories of World War II and how he and his fellow soldiers fought bravely for their country, and she loved listening to them. He always called her "My little chickadee" then ruffled her hair. Her grandfather was always an eccentric person. She slowly grew up, swimming, as that was what her grandfather did often. On a police mission, her father was killed and her mother had been the hostage, and she had blown up, which left Emil and Dee without parents. Emil had a hard time dealing with it, whereas Dee hid her emotions and didn't show her pain.
When she turned ten, she started to attend a different school, switching schools from her older one where everyone called her "Lilah", which really annoyed her, and they knew that, doing it on purpose. She liked her new school, and she met friends, her best friends being Rose and Henry, a pair of twins who stuck together no matter what. Emil started to become quieter and slipped away, and then when she turned thirteen and he turned fifteen, he came out to his grandparents, who were cool with it, and her friends and she never judged him because of that. He was also accepted into Blue Lake Academy at the time, his first year.
When she turned thirteen, she got accepted in, her grandparents pulled together some money and paid for her fee. Now she attends here, and she loves it. She even met her one true love- her horse Blain ( :P ), and she loves spending time with him, when she isn't talking to her brother, swimming, doing service, or calling Rose and Henry.
