Background: Deiana's dad, Jason, was sentenced to 3 years in prison for money laundering and is coming up on his final year. It was a pretty big deal, it made national news and everything. They still did alright financially as her mom, Selena, is a successful businesswoman, but it greatly damaged their reputation. Deiana believes the only reason she was still accepted into BLA was because she's a legacy. Her older brother, Gavin, graduated from BLA, as well as her mom, dad, aunt, grandparents, and so on. She comes from a long line of BLA graduates. 2 years ago she dropped out of school for a year because she got pregnant and, to keep it a secret, her parents had her live with her aunt, Roni, who lives near BLA. Once she delivered, she went back to school and her family told everyone she dropped out because of health reasons. Nobody at school knows about the pregnancy; somehow her family managed to keep it a secret. Now she's back, and she's a year behind so will be graduating late. Her aunt is taking care of her now one-year-old daughter, Evelyn. Deiana visits Evelyn almost every weekend.

Soft brown hair frames a forever pale face. Her lips stay in a small smile, always showing off the slight dimples she has. Her blue eyes twinkle with excitement and her eyebrows arch in a permanent surprise. Countless freckles decorate the round childish face making it all the more interesting.
Long story short:

Personality: She's too weird to be around the normal people, and too normal to be around the weird people. Honestly, the best way I can describe her is, she's a human clam. She is really tough on the outside, but once you break open her shell, she's all soft.

History:
Julia grew up in a family that was graced with body-kinesthetic intelligence, in other words, they were all sporty. Julia on the other had couldn't care less about "hitting a ball into a net, four points, touchdown, yay!" *exaggerated eye roll*. She focused on academics, and books, and letting everything out on a page.
It sounds great, being the black sheep, it means you are unique. But when you come from a Wisconsin town of 910 people, it gets old. Everyone knows your family and can't seem to believe you're a part of it. She got sick of the loneliness and decided to apply to blue lake. A fresh start. Julia will make sure she is never compared to anyone else, she is unique, and she doesn't have to be measured against anyone else.

Personality: Melitta works hard in her studies and loves to color coordinate all of her notes. She loves to take photos of people, nature, animals, and for the school. She is a happy person and will always cheer one up. She is always willing to take on new things. Melitta is pretty polite but can snap at times. She does lose her temper sometimes and, when she does, she gets quiet. Melitta loves to show fellow students where things are, (classrooms, public places, etc.). You will often see Melitta with a camera around her neck and a notepad in her hand. She loves her horse, Coco, who she takes lots of pictures of. She does not wear make-up. History: Melitta’s parents were sad to see her go but were happy to have her get accepted into the Academy. Personality: Woodrow is a very nice person and will not talk bad about you. You will often find him outside, running. He likes to joke around with his fellow teammates and strives to be the best he can. When Woodrow sets his mind on something, he will stick to it no matter the consequences. He does get in trouble when his grades are low and when he gets into fights.

History: Woodrow has always excelled in mathematics, so his parents signed him up to attend the Academy. He is what you would call both a nerd and an athlete. He used to be a chubby kid and was made fun of. This motivated Woodrow to workout and to show the bullies that he is more than that. Now, he is in many sports. She tends to dress without much flare, although sometimes she puts a bit of extra effort. Almost never though. Some people would say she has a natural beauty to her, generally looking good without much effort. She never wears makeup, finding it stressing and most time’s unnecessary. With exceptions, of course. Some people tend to call her “cute”, but she doesn’t like it (most of the time).

Katherine was born with two languages, English and german, and later on went on to learn French. This made her really like languages and writing in general as she could see it from different perspectives. Soon, she was writing her own novels and stories that she plans to publish sometime in the future. Her almost perfect family and town did not prepare her for the real world, though, as she is too quick to trust and befriend everyone she meets and this has brought her some problems. When she went to a boarding school in Germany, she was bullied by her “friends” and afterwards, deep down, the need for acceptance and a fear of rejection started to grow in her. When she returned, her life went back to normal. Now, she was admitted to BLA and is very excited about it, but her fear seemed to have grown after receiving the news...

Personality: Although Summer may be spontaneous on very rare occasions she always loves having a plan. She likes structure and is very organized. She is very responsible and also very intelligent. She enjoys meeting new people and loves her friends as if their her second family. Although she is a caring person she sometimes has trouble being empathetic towards others. Her mind often sides with her thoughts over her emotions. She doesn't mind being in small groups of people or in large crowds although she prefers being alone or with small groups of people when she has to focus on something. History: Summer was always interested in business even when she was to young to know it. Maybe it started when her and her little sister, Natalie, had lemonade stands and she would be in charge of the money they earned because she was older. Although the lemonade was only 25 cents a cup she would always make sure that they got a profit on each and every sale. Even from the beginning of her life it was clear that Summer was born to be an entrepreneur.

As a child Summer was always close to her family, especially her younger sister Natalie and her father. While her mother was more spontaneous and loved the idea of naming all of her children after seasons her father was more analytical and he always loved a good math problem. Summer and her father always came in first and second place when the family decided to play a math related game on family game night.

Despite her parents differences they both had one main goal for their children. They wanted them to succeed in whatever profession they chose. Summer's father especially believed that success started early on and going to a good school was one of the first steps. When Summer found Blue Lake Academy online one day she knew that it would tick all of her parents boxes as being a school that would start success.

Even though Summer was brilliant at Math she still didn't know if she'd get into such a prestigious academy. At times during the wait that seemed like forever to hear back from the school Summer doubted that her application would even be considered. It wasn’t like she went to a well known private school or had parents that were both millionaires. Her life was pretty average but she liked it that way. It was always easier to have a plan when she knew what was coming.

Summer was ecstatic to find out that she got into the academy. Although she knew she'd miss her little sister she knew that going to the academy would be worth it in the end. Summer made friends at the academy quite quickly but she also grew apart from her sister. Everyone in her family was happy though when they found out that her little sister Natalie made it into the academy a few years later. Summer knew that Natalie going to the academy would be the perfect opportunity to renew there old friendship just like she'd always planned.

History- Grew up in South Beach California in a House right on the beach. Her parents, both attended this school there freshman year, found each other, and fell in love instantly. To this day, they both sill love each other on a crazy level. Alyssa has two younger twin siblings Grace and Carson, another sis Emmy, and has a baby sis Amelia. Grace and Carson are 13 and have plans to attend the school soon! Grace is super spunky and sweet and Carson is a sports junkie. Emmy is a rambunctious 5 year old who loves to be the center of everyone attention and the baby Amelia just recently turned two. Before getting excepted here, Alyssa attended the local highschool back in South Beach. There she was on the dance team, cheer team, and gymnastics team. Personality / It's no secret that Nina was never the nicest girl growing up. She was always the kid who picked on others to make herself feel better. As she grew older, she only grew meaner. History / Upper East Side New York is where her story began, but Nina has no idea where it's going to end. Growing up, she had it all. Her father was a wealthy investment banker and her mother owned a fashion empire, Garza Glamour. She was always a girly girl with a flair for the extraordinary. For her, an odd part of her life was realizing that she didn't like guys like all of her friends and when her parents split, she realized she was the only one without a perfect household. Regardless, she learned to move forward. Getting into Blue Lake was the perfect step towards a new start for Nina. She had a chance to make new friends and new opportunities. Unfortunately, that wasn't as easy as it first appeared. However, Nina will fight her way to the top of the social ladder if she has to.

Appearance: Daphne has straight long blonde hair that reaches the middle of her back. She sometimes curls her hair and it is often down. She has pale skin and olive green eyes that are framed with long eyelashes. She wears a light amount of makeup on special occasions. She is 5 feet 6 inches tall and has some curves.

Personality: Daphne is usually quite shy but once she is around people she knows she gains more confidence. She also gains confidence when she plays rugby. She is very self conscious when it comes to both her strengths and weaknesses, especially when it comes to her singing ability and her ability with school subjects. Despite this she is competitive in a playful way. She is very caring and empathetic towards others and often cares about others more then herself. She gets embarrassed easily and doesn't like being the center of attention. She is very gullible and easily trusts others.

History: Daphne grew up in a small town with her older brother, Christopher, her parents and her grandmother. Everyone knew everyone and everybody had something unique that they were known for. Daphne's mother was known for her delicious apple crumble, her brother was known for being a skilled quarterback, Daphne's grandmother was known for being the first person from the town to ever be accepted to Blue Lake Academy and Daphne was known as the girl who played rugby. Despite loving her small town and the warm atmosphere it had, Daphne was always curious as to what was outside of her small home. Knowing Daphne though no one would ever expect her to speak up about her wishes, at least not without an important reason. At the age of six Daphne was given one.

Daphne's grandmother unexpectedly was diagnosed with breast cancer. This turned everything upside down. Daphne spent every free moment in the hospital by her grandmother's side trying to savor every last moment she had with her beloved grandmother. She begged her grandmother to share with her every story she had and she ended up learning about how her grandmother couldn't go to Blue Lake Academy because her family couldn't afford the tuition. Daphne felt bad for her grandmother because of that but she didn't let that pain stop her from relishing every moment she had with her grandmother.

Not long after Daphne turned seven her grandmother past away. Her grandmother left her a gold charm bracelet with two charms. She also left a letter telling her that each charm represented a new experience in her life. She also said that she wanted her to add a new charm every time she experienced something new.

As the years went by Daphne continued to play rugby. Although she always missed her grandmother, the pain slowly became a memory.

Just after Daphne turned sixteen the girls rugby team in her town was shut down. Daphne was devastated and tried to get others to join but no one wanted to as rugby wasn't popular when it came to girls sports. That's when Daphne's brother reminded her of Blue Lake Academy. Daphne looked online and saw that they had a rugby team. Not only did this school have a rugby team but it was also the school that her grandmother was accepted to but couldn't go to. Daphne knew that if she got accepted it would be like she was continuing her grandmother's legacy. They both told their mother about the academy and her mother agreed to let her apply for the academy.

Daphne waited for weeks to see if she got accepted. She was worried about her math grade stopping her from getting in but despite that she ended up getting in for her junior year. Daphne is now starting her first year at the academy.
