I feel the exact same way as you do. I've had a little more time to think about it though (view spoiler)[ I'm glad Dani got to have her first time with Dancer, I think it was so true to Dani's character. she really would have never been happy just having sex with Ryodan. My first reaction was noooooooooooooooooooooo lmao. But I'm so excited now for the next book. he rejected her and Dani O says there's no second chances so he's got a lot of work to do LOL (hide spoiler)]

But rly. The moment kmm introduced dancers heart story - i felt like dani is doing a bit of pitty love and thats what was off to me. In the end she did love Dancer with all her heart and she had no regrets. But i felt like KMM dropped some lines and scenes to show that he was no perfect for her. (hide spoiler)]

I agree, Dani was so desperate keep him around I think it made her speed up the loving process out of fear of losing him. There's many thoughts Dani has that show he wasn't her equal or perfect for her. But their love was so beautiful and pure and he showed her what it was like to be in love <3 (hide spoiler)]

1. I dunno why i start with this one - but what was up with the whole Jo and Lor thing??????? xD why did we have to go through all those spread eagle and clit scenes if it was for nothing??

2. Dancer. Man. Wtf! He was supposed to be the Scribe! Shazam! The UK even i was thinking by the end.. but no. He just was a patient. And just rly smart.

3. Dani and Dancer ;-( the worst part is that the moment Dani chose to be with him for whatever reason (hope it wasnt pity, but just the eye opening situation) - but the moment she chose to love him and be happy with the simple love he was giving her - thats when Dancer was a dead man. Coz there was no way for KMM to let him live and make our girl break up with him. She wouldnt do that to him anyway. Dani would have stayed with Dancer forever if he didnt die. There was no doubt in me how his story will end.

4. Poor Ryo boy, but he s a big boy and he has more books to go!

5. Please please let Dani and Ryo not have a mural moment in the end as well >_<

6. Shazam came up in the last moment and pooped on all our speculations of the plot for the next books xD

7. Mac being the queen is somehow very cheesy, no? xD

8. The Book was strangely powerless in the end.

I think Jo was just killed off to show what a monster the book is and that not everyone has a happy life I guess lol.

I for sure thought he was the guy from the prologue-with some sort of powers. Now that I think of it I don't know who the prologue was??????

I need K Mo to be nicer to my girl, her life is just too hard.

I didn't like Mac being the queen, I was excited to see her evolve into a badass as herself. this felt like a cheat. she always gets super powerful weapons without working for them, it's like her thing.



The shazam scene was the most epic wonderful scene of all time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ADORED IT. Dani's got a hel-cat!!

The cheesy option is that the moment he had with Mac where she was saying that if she'd met him first - she could have loved him and he could have changed (plus the fact that he sacrificed himself for the seelie and humans) - it redeemed him and made him perfect (or ..not imperfect ) (hide spoiler)]

The kissing scene was just like it should be.. aaand it further supported how Dani was only ever destined to be temporarily with Dancer. That kissing scene was easy to read, whereas the teen love was mainly awkward and cute (as it was meant to be), but never stopped feeling off to me.

But OK Ryo boy knows how to kiss. Lets see if he knows how to get a second chance with Dani O lmfao! (hide spoiler)]

Its just i hate it to have to do with pity on any level.. hopefully there was none of that.. on the othet hand - it doesnt really matter i guess? He was dying and our girl gave him so mucb happiness from the life he had! And she loved him as friend or even more. So its exactly what Dani would have done in auch situation. Now that i think about it i realise our girl wont pretend with noone. She truly loved him and wanted him to stay alive and in her life. It was very sweet ;-(

To go on more cheerful note - the ending was super random i agree! Dunno if it means more mac/barons in future. I doubt it! But then again.. i thought Dancer is unseeelie..

But the end was all like - aaand who will the UK power go to?? Its hovering in the air, undecisive, cliffhangy.. whi will be the champion? And coz with was hinted cruce wants it, but also that barrons is the uk from the mural - it seems like an open door to me.... (hide spoiler)]

For those who have read it, is the book satisfying? I'm sort of irritated that we were told this is the last book, wait it's not the last book. Same thing happened with Shadowfever.

This is the last book with Mac and Barrons. The next books are gonna be more like a spin off from what I understand.

I think the book is somewhat satisfying. I think if you're a big Mac and Barrons fan you will be satisfied bc their story comes to a close. Dani's story come to a "for now" kind of close if that makes sense lol. the other characters didn't get much closure

Hey Ann! I like it very much! It did feel complete. Mac and Barrons story was told fully.. unless KMM decides to involve them randomly in adventures of other characters in future books.

From what i read - the next two books will be about Dani. Although no idea what the story line would be

Yeah. Dani has yet to make a choice if she wants to join to nine (do we officially call them shape-shifters now?). I'm sure she ll lose her soul if she joins them. Meaning choosing Ryo over Dancer.. will be dramatic. I don't doubt it.
