I'm just past the halfway point. There's been a lot of (view spoiler)[running and intrigue (hide spoiler)] so far. I was surprised that (view spoiler)[Karina, Alexei's mom, was still alive. I feel bad for her, though. I'm glad that they took from the hospital. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[I thought the ending sucked. You basically find out everything was for nothing. All those people died and for what? Some nut couldn't take the time to ask questions. If they had they would know that nobody wanted what she thought. The good news was that Grace and Alexei ended up together. (hide spoiler)]

Yikes, double 2 star ratings. doesn't seem like a good end....

yeah, so far this one isn't really all that interesting...I think it's taken me at least a week to get through 70 pages...lol

It sucks that this last book is such a letdown for all of us.

this time I'll come back every 8 chapters

I previously made it through the first 7 chapters but I don't remember any of it so I plan to start all over again!

I read chapter 1 but then got really into the other book I was reading. Sooooo I will working this tonight since I just got done with that book.

Haha, thanks for feeling my pain Vicki! I just like to read too much and in my head I'm done with school at the end of May...So I should have more time to read. Everything I signed up for is between now and the end of school. What was I THINKING? haha

Also, my library only lets me request 5 books at a time, so that's also a down fall to over booking.

5 books? Lord have mercy!! LOL

Yes, I can have 10 checked out but I can only request 5 and it normally takes a good week or more for them to come in.

I love that Ann got sent away to where Katrina was (because she really was crazy with this need to control the heirs or something. she was just weird)

but this book was so boring. Her struggle with the society and Ann.....for her to keep losing and losing. I hated reading it.
