Hi Lisa! The challenge is going great! I'm 3 books away from my target this year of 21 books!

Well, to be fair, Human Acts was quite a depressing book for me. I've not particularly enjoyed Han Kang's work of The Vegetarian either, the ideas seem quite alien to me sometimes, and I can't seem to make a connection with the story, and that is why I didn't enjoy the book that much.

I'm sorry to hear you didn't enjoy either that much. I can understand how "The Vegetarian" wouldn't work for everyone though :) I wasn't entirely sure what I thought of it at first but the more I thought about it, the more I realized how I enjoyed all the layers of it.
