Unapologetic_Bookaholic Hello,
A little about me. I started pen palling when I was 12. I did it for several years. When I got online in my early 20s that hobby sort of took over my interest and I let go of my snail mailing.

I miss collecting. I am unable to have large collections due to my living space. So no more 400+ book collections (unless its ebooks).

Now, I saw this group and thought, hey. I love this idea. It brings back the happy memory of pen palling and I can start a new collection.

So anyone interested in swapping please PM me (subject pen pals) or email me at [email protected] (subject pen pals).

Thank you !

ps. To the MODS I hope it is ok to post a new thread. I did not find a rule or intro thread on how to navigate the group =>

Spike | 1 comments Hey howdy!!

I was deeply into mail art in the late Naughties; then kind of slipped away from it for a while. The groups I was passionate about exchanging in were closing, and I wasn't finding anything else to take their place.

Then I discovered fountain pens and luscious inks, and well, I need some place to use them, right? Plus I am a magpie for postcards; I will pick up a fistful wherever I go when I'm out of town. Or buy blank collections of postcards from the used bookstore -- and there they sit.

I'd rather have them out in the world, being enjoyed as the bits of ephemera that they are; so I found this group and am ready to play. Can't promise a full on "pen pal" but would be happy to swap on a random basis.

Heh. All that to say -- sent you a message asking for your snail mail address.
