Just a quick heads up everyone. There will be a new mini challenge starting on 15th March.

Full details should be up soon but similar to the February mini only books started and finished between the 15th and 31st will count.

I seem to have a few different books on the go at the moment so I'm going to try and get them finished and out of the way so I'm ready to start fresh on the 15th.

Was thinking about starting after the 15th and I know a couple of you have read it. Do you know if there is anyway it'll work for E (character names etc)? It's more than 50% yellow so could maybe slot into 8 yellow in hand 10.

I added a tab to our tracking sheet for the mini challenge. I've put info with team name, authors, and characters (not finished but have to leave in for now).

What does everyone think of it? I like it and can definitely think of a few books to fit the first three tasks.

Oh. Is anyone good at anagrams? Ideally for task 4 I think we want as many 5 letter words as possible to max out the points

And we can use characters from any books in the series for books that are a series!

Or maybe that should have been as many 7 letter words as poss.

We also have to use the name they're called most so Primrose in HG=Prim

Just finished The Last Anniversary. Should finish my audiobook this afternoon or tomorrow morning & I'll start hunting for books for the mini challenge.

I can't finish Perfect Little World, the book is driving me nuts and I'm bored almost to tears

Hey guys! I'll check out the mini tomorrow and see how I can help! 13 hours until the last exam finally!! Can't wait to get back to reading, I'm really missing the book I'm currently reading!

I spent around an hour at work this afternoon (when I really should have been working lol) looking at anagram solvers but none I found would take that many letters. I've played around a bit on paper but with the lack of vowels it's difficult to get a lot of words. I was thinking about maybe using another spreadsheet with a letter per square and moving them around to see what we can get. I did find some words without vowels Rhythms, wyrm, myth, nymph but they more than use all our h's

I was also kinda tempted to go spy on the other teams to see what they've come up with but so far haven't found much.

Have added a sheet on the tracking spreadsheet for potential words. I've made an attempt but have four letters left over. I've also had a quick spy and shown what another team is doing although I'm not sure these are all real words. I don't think you can have a plural of Myrrh but what do I know.

Feel free to play around and see if you can come up with better combinations.

Still spying and it looks like Yvaine may have managed to come up with a combination that uses all but one letter so I'll keep trying.

48 books is a lot of books so we might not manage them all anyway.

I think we start with the longer words first and see how we go. I ended up with a 6 letter and 4 letter word so they could be dropped if we don't manage all 48 books.

Thanks guys! I'm incredibly excited but it still feels unreal haha I just need to do my final monograph and then I get my degree! Crazy how 4 years flew by!
