Looking through shelves now and if anyone is looking for ideas it looks like Catherine and Brianna both joined GR in February and added a lot of books.

I should say I've added some possibilities to the tracking sheet for myself but I don't think there's any chance I can read all of them in two weeks :D

Good news all. For the books added tasks you can use a book on any shelf not just the read shelf. Hopefully that creates some more options.

Just a thought, do you think if we visited Ty and Zane and suggested some books they might like they'd add them to their TBR ;)

I'll have a better look through tomorrow, because on my look earlier there's not many there that I'll read. So hopefully with all shelves there may be a few more options.

I have Rebel of the Sands and have been meaning to read it, so that works out pretty nicely.

Also, I know that we are focusing on the first set of tasks right now, but I started Windwitch this morning, and the author Susan Dennard is best friends with Sarah J. Mass, and reading a book whose author is known to be best friends with another author is one of the tasks in Part 2.

Sounds good to me. I have to confess there's a fair chance I'm going to read King's Cage before I read my books for task 1 as I just need to read it now (plus I miraculously received it from NetGalley)

Not having the best day today. Not long after arriving at work I was positive I could smell a funny smell. Turns out my darling little kitty cat had sprayed on something I was wearing.

Had to take an early lunch (10am??) to go home and shower and change :(

On the plus side all of the travelling back and forth means I've finished which I'm going to slot in to one of the later hands as a draw 2 (reverse and 5)

That's a bad start to the day :) but at least it did give you more reading time.

I've a book finished and added it to planning. I've put it in for a task for part 2 of mini challenge.

Is it just me or does anyone else start humming the theme tune to the One Foot in the Grave TV show whenever they see that book title?

I've started Ocean at the End of the Lane and Kings Cage but am probably going to focus on Ocean as it should be a quick read.

Not sure if it helps or hurts but it looks like Brianna from Ty and Zane has been replaced by new member Andrea.

So what does that mean? We already have books picked out from a Brianna's shelf and I've started a book from one of hers.

I've just checked and it looks like we can only use books from the shelves of current members, so not Brianna's I'm afraid. The exception is books she read as part of UNO before leaving which I think means Scarlet and something else.

Sorry I noticed they had a new member last night but didn't pick up they were a replacement for Brianna.

Sorry again. I've just found out that Brianna hasn't actually read any books for Uno. I'm obviously losing the plot as I could have sworn there were a couple of books against her name on their team spreadsheet but they're gone now. So no books on Briannas shelves can be used.

That sucks as her's was the only shelf (apart from 2) that I found some books I'd read for part 1 of the mini challenge. So I'm going to be no help, they don't really read many book that I do or want to read.

I will go through again and see if there are any others.

I think that when they get read if they aren't already on the tracking sheet they'll be added. I know I hadn't added mine to tracking sheet yet as I wasn't 100% sure I'd read them. But the ones I'll definitely read I'll add as soon as I can.

I should have zero things to do Saturday so my hope is that I can just bunker down and get a ton of reading done!

I thought their new member Andrea might have something that would suit you Danielle but having scoured her shelves last night it doesn't look like she's very active in February of any year. Hardly any books added or read.

Am I the only one who's really not liking these 5's? I do have a book that I want to read and that will work for that but not sure it'll fit any of the Valentine tasks.

Im not really enjoying the book I started earlier but I will finish it.. almost halfway there!
