What? I have just read the first one. And I have the second one but haven't been able to make myself pick it up. And now. I think I'll wait.

I don't know if she just added the fourth book or something, but thinking the book was the final one completely ruined any enjoyment I could've gotten from the ending tbh. But that's my own fault for being misinformed I guess? It just seemed sooooo hyped up (like a finale would be), and I could've sworn I had seen it being advertised as a trilogy as well.

I am happy it didn't end where King's Cage did, but I hate that I wasn't aware of another book :(

I was thinking the same thing I have the second book, but I have not read it yet, might as well wait until the series is finished :-)

Honestly, I recommend both of you do. That series seems to be better read all together tbh, and the only reason I even read books 2 and 3 this month was thinking it was the end. Ah well, now I wait in torment

It was a great book though, so I still really enjoyed it, just was not expecting a cliffhanger at all there ):

Hey guys! I finished When The Moon Was Ours and posted the review (actually did it right away this time xD ) and I'm currently reading both Starfall and Suicide Notes from Beautiful Girls (started this one as well because Starfall was starting to annoy me, and I needed a break.)

I also should finish Scythe as some point but it's soooo slow and I just don't feel like I'm getting anywhere with it.

Nice :-) I should finish a book tomorrow and I will definitely squeeze in a few more buddy reads before the month is over, February is such a short month

Your scythe is my heartless. I'm so glad I finished it. I feel bad for you though. Good thing you have others to break the monotony of scythe.

I'm almost done with twenties girl. I'm actually liking it. It's really good.

I actually just also realized that a year ago is when I started doing these challenges! My first challenge was the February wedding challenge, which was also my first and last time on a fun team xD

Nice. I haven't done fun teams. I've done medium but I wasn't as motivated to read then. Last month I was in a serious team but we didn't communicate as much and it's also the first time I barely read for that month. I didn't even meet the quota for a serious team.

Yea I was lucky that my fun team had a few people who actually liked planning. But it felt much more like a 5 person team, when there were actually 10 team members in total. With both medium and fun, you just have to be lucky to have a structured and planned team. I was on medium last month myself, and I was way less motivated too, since our team slowly stopped reading over the course of the month, so I did as well.

I've seen that happen in serious teams as well though, and if the chat isn't active less people seem to read.

My serious team won last month, but you are right if you are on a team that does not communicate it is not very motivating, I'd rather be on a chattier team then a winning team :-)

Lol. I like to read the exchanges. When we are too quiet I venture into the other groups and read theirs. *shh

@Berit I definitely agree there. I'm usually super competitive, but I've become less of that as the challenges have gone by, since it's so much more fun to just talk to each other about books and everything.

@cinthia No worries I do the same xD was weird the one time I stumbled across some people complaining about me and my friend Allison (who I used to do all the challenges with) though o.O

Lol. I remember that time. I used to sit back and just read all the comments. I think the only time I've really complained within this group is when there were adjusted points.

Yeaa I remember those times, were some pretty rough months. I just realized now that the group hasn't had a huge argument over rules or something since like early 2016, which is amazing.

I've notice they've cut out the serious teams a bit too. There usually were 4-5 now it's only 3. And there used to only be 4 members per group max. Whatever they are doing it's actually helping a lot.

Yea I've noticed that too. Overall it seems like a bunch of little changes have just made a huge positive impact! Haven't been any huge imbalances, unfair adjusted points, etc.

Good old adjusted points, I'm so glad we have not had those in quite a while, I think adding that medium level helped quite a bit :-)

I agree. A lot of people want to be in a group.

Yea definitely, people seem to be choosing the right groups more and more too. I also like the new scoring the implemented, where it's not just under 450 or above to get 1 or 2 points, but more specified and "fair" in my opinion

Very much agree with that, because people would read very short middle grade books and get a lot of points and that's fine if that's your thing, but I would get bored in about a minute, I do like the scoring much better now :-)

I like the scoring system too it's more rounded.

Yea someone who read a 100 page book would be getting the same as someone who read a 400 page book that just barely missed the cut off, and that was probably where some of the imbalance came from I guess?

I should be posting a couple reviews today, maybe even three, I'm reading a shorter book that I started this morning :-)

I'm behind on posting my reviews. I should get on later and do that. I will be reading a BR today that will get me 12 points.

I have two postings to do and I'm currently rly reading Winter kinda long book and I'm having to work all week so I won't be able to read as much.

I'll prob just do Winter and a kinsella book and be done for the month.

I'm half way through Hart broken too. I sooo wanted to meet my 20 for this month. I'll be two short unless I speed through the ones I'm on. We will see.

Why do we have to work??? Why can my job just be read books and review??? Obviously books I WANT to read though! Lol.

@Cinthia I wish so too Cinthia! No school anymore, just reading and reviewing all day. Would be amazing (I wouldn't even mind reading some books I didn't want to)

I'm finally getting down to read suicide notes now, and hope to get quite a bit through it today! (And then Scythe should hopefully happen too...)

Overall I hope to finish Starfall, By Your aside, Scythe, and Suicide Notea this month, even though I'm wishing for a few more BRs done as well. Feels like such a short month!

So it seems Suicide Notes is going super fast, so I may even have it done today!

I should finish my 2 BRs by Saturday, Sunday at the latest.

But now I'm onto By Your Side and finishing Starfall and Scythe (and hopefully Windwitch after them all...). My goal is basically 4 books in 4 days, and I just really hope I make that!

Good luck Meaghan. I'm hoping to finish Winter too... I keep getting sidetracked. Lol. I was hoping to read Forever but it just isn't striking my fancy. I'm onto Remember me. So at least 3 more for this month.

We have all been so quiet this weekend, I have three reviews I need to post, it is just been busy, but I will get those done probably tomorrow :-) how's everybody doing?

I've been doing good, just a super busy weekend with moving. I'm currently reading theee books (30% 40% and 60% done I believe) so my goal is to finish those three!

Oh and I still have a review I need to write and post!

I will admit that I've just been lazy. I will get on tonight or tomorrow and write my reviews.

I also got 3 books to finish and 3 other reviews to post. I have been at work too much this weekend so I'm hoping to get at least 2 of the 3 books finished and I'll post all 5 reviews tomorrow.

It's all good, I think I noticed the top team has some insane amount of points, so...
I just really wanted to motivate myself to finish up my reviews :-) if it weren't for this group I wouldn't do so....

@Berit Same here Berit. They're so far ahead that I'm not motivated to win, and without this team I probably would've never finished my last few books xD
