Our Challenge Rules:

This challenge is all about love and romance, simply read books which fit the categories, and enjoy!

Categories:
- A couple on the cover
- Flowers on the cover
- Envelope or greetings card on the cover
- Food on the cover
- A ring or jewellery on the cover
- A candle on the cover
- Hearts on the cover
- A red cover
- A romance novel
- A book first published in February
- "Date" in the title
- "Love" in the title
- "Secret" in the title
- "Cupid" in the title
- "Kiss" In the title
- Book with an average rating of 4 or more
- Title starting with V, A, L, E, N, T, or I
- Book from this list -https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/8... .

Points:
*50 - 99 pages = 0.5 points
*100 - 199 pages = 1 point
*200 - 299 pages = 2 points
*300 - 399 pages = 3 points
*400 - 499 pages = 4 points
*500 - 599 pages = 5 points
*600+ pages = 6 points
(maximum of 6 points per book)
*Buddy reads DOUBLE your points score, so a 300 page book + buddy read = 6 points. 600 page book + buddy read = 12 points. (Bonus points for buddy reads will only be given if the buddy read has taken place in our group.)

Rules:
* This challenge will run from Feburary 1st to Feburary 28th, with results announced on March 1st.
*Books started before Feburary can be used, but you must only claim the number of pages read in February.
*Buddy reads must still have a minimum of 4 comments to count.
*4 detailed updates can be used instead of a review.
*Re-reads are allowed as long as its been at least a year since you last read the book.

For now, my TBR list for February is:



✔ A romance novel - Catch My Breath - 350 pages.
✔ Book with an average rating of 4 or more - Beneath The Skin - 326 pages.
✔ Book with an average rating of 4 or more - Crazy For Alice - 206 pages.
✔ Title starting with V, A, L, E, N, T, or I - A Monster Calls - 370 pages + BR.
※ A couple on the cover - Ethan, Who Loved Carter - 246 pages.

I am not really excited about any book so far but I plan on reading Me Before You by Jojo Moyes this time. Anyone read it?

Does anyone know if I want to do a reread but this edition has over 100 pages of new content and it would obviously be a different edition if it would count or not?

I reread the original story less than a year ago.

Hello! I am here! I'm sorry I didn't check in earlier but I'm not a ghost reader, I promise!

I'm currently reading for a book published in February.

Planning on buddy reading and will use it for a book with average rating over 4 (it just squeezes in with a 4.04).

I might *try* to get in for book beginning with "T", but it's almost 1000 pages so I'm not sure I will be able to finish it.

That's great, Emma. i have personally read 2 more books but haven't reviewed them, yet because I don't have my laptop. will review them most probably on the 16th. :D

I finished and . Reviewing/posting them in a few minutes. I also read that I think will fit into the "romance" category, since it's a retelling of Persuasion by Jane Austen, and one of the book's listed genres is romance.

I haven't read any of her books... I hadn't really payed attention to this author ... do you like her? she seams to have some light sweet "clean" romances. Do you recommend any of her books?

They are expensive, though. I had to buy the kindle edition that is why. Do you use kindle?

I have kindle, though I don't use it much. But, I do have some kindle books I got through Netgalley, so I'll probably be using my kindle more next month.
