Kyle Borland (kgborland) I really want to read Rush of Wings and In the Blood, are they any good?

message 2: by Nita (new)

Nita (gillnit) I have read both of these the last month and enjoyed them both. They have a great storyline involving vampires and angels. I hesitated reading the first because of the terrible book cover- but glad I got over that. Urban fantasy at its greatest.

The Flooze (the_flooze) | 1831 comments Absolutely awesome. Ignore the cover art, AND the book description. Neither do the series justice.

Liz (arcanepenguin) | 77 comments I found A Rush of Wings a little hard to get into, it was a really slow read for me. I wasn't crazy about it.

I read it about a year & a half ago and didn't really love it, but I have the 2nd one so maybe it will be better.

I thought i was the only one in all of goodreads that didn't really think this book was all that great.

I didn't think there was anything spectacular about it.. I mean it was okay. But the way people raved about it I thought it would have a little something extra. I still havent' read the second one, and I'm not sure if I will bother.
