Everyman | 7718 comments The poll results, among the top finishers, are:

Le Morte d'Arthur: raw vote 6, weighted vote 8
Letters from a Stoic: raw vote 6, weighted vote 14
Blithedale Romance: raw vote 5, weighted vote 12
Lord Jim: raw vote 4, weighted vote 7

So the two books that go forward to the final vote are Letters from a Stoic and the Blithedale Romance.

I have set the poll up, to run through next Friday night. It's time to vote for your choice.

Everyman | 7718 comments The Blithedale Romance is the winner in a landslide -- not even worth the effort of calculating the weighted vote.

The Republic ends on March 14th (unless we extend the schedule by a week for a week of discussion of the work as a whole), then there is a two week Interim Read, so The Blithedale Romance will start on March 29th (unless we add that extra week, in which case it will start on April 5th).

Thomas has agreed to moderate it. He'll decide soon how long he thinks the discussion should last, but it is fairly short, though rich with discussion topics, so it won't be a lengthy read.

They are announced on the first day of the read. They are always something available to read on the Internet, so there's no need to get a book in advance.
