The "add book/author" for my book is for an old version. How I can I update that?

Thanks!

Thanks! Is there a way to delete the old link?

Thomas Everson (authorthomaseverson) | 424 comments Not that I've found. It seems it will always exist as part of the database.

I may have stumbled on an answer.

When you look for your name, there is a click that says:

Is this you? Let us know. If not...etc

Clicking on "Let Us Know" opens an application to join the
Join the Goodreads Author Program (something I didn't even know of.) On the forums there, I see others doing requests to combine and delete their book information.

There is also a very faint "edit data" to the right of your name. If you click on that, you get: "Sorry, only users with librarian status can edit book and author data. If you would like librarian status, then please apply here."

To be a librarian, you have to have shelved 50 books.

TLDR: You gotta be a librarian.

G.G. (ggatcheson) | 2491 comments ok... on main page of the book, there are many covers showing. Probably one for each version (epub, mobi, print) and old versions too since GR keeps them all.
Click on the cover you want as your primary one. Edit the details. To your right you will have a few options:

Disable tooltips
Set this book as the primary edition for this work
Refresh book and work rating stats
Refresh book page cache

Click on Set this book as the primary edition for this work.

Thomas Everson (authorthomaseverson) | 424 comments You rock GG. Thanks! I knew I was missing it.

Shadyia, have you claimed your author profile? If you haven't, you should. That will allow you to edit your own book's data.

If that means "Join the Goodreads Author Program" --I just did that.

If it doesn't, please tell me how to do that.

G.G. (ggatcheson) | 2491 comments It's been so long... to claim your author profile you have to claim at least a book as yours. If you go on the page of your book, does it ask you if the book is yours? If so, by saying yes, you should automatically have your author page.

*Unless I am missing something*
