I am new to this wonderful group, and I feel that audiobook entertainment is going to be a very big part of the “book reading” future, and assume its rightful place as a preferred art form. Also, as a physician turned author (very recently), I appreciate that busy people with less time for fiction like to keep their eyes and hands free—and those body parts are generally getting past middle age.

Speaking of fiction, I have FIVE FREE DOWNLOADING CODES for my latest audiobook release on Audible.com’s great website entitled: “A POOL, A SUITOR, A CELLIST” subtitled “Bright Shadows Series: Novelette Trilogies for Busy Folks”. This is the first volume in my series of trilogies of strange novelettes, or short novels, each divided into three convenient parts for handy listening (total running time is 5.5 hrs.). The narration is smashing. Subversion Life on the Edge of Eternity by R. Manolakas Lonely Pines A Medical Short Story Wherein the Future Rescues the Past by R. Manolakas These tales are in the style of the “The Twilight Zone” TV series of yesteryear, as is my recent short story “Lonely Pines; A Medical Short Story Wherein the Future Rescues the Past.” The short story, and “Subversion”—my paranormal medical thriller novel—are also available as audiobooks on Audible.com and all have received good reviews on Amazon. I have free downloading codes for those audiobooks too. Naturally, a review is appreciated, but just write me back if you would like the codes and I will be glad to shoot you back the promo codes. You can use my link or the review excerpts on Amazon’s website search bar using my author name or click http://www. rmanolakasaudiobooks. jimdo.com; Thank you, R. Manolakas, author and rights holder.

Diane Hernandez (dianereviewsbooks) | 19 comments I would like a code to either Subversion (it sounds like an intriguing idea to mix paranormal with medical thriller) or your new short story collection "A Pool, a Suitor, A Cellist". Both sound great! I commute for 2 hours each day so I have time to listen and I love to write reviews.

Thanks for the offer.

Thanks Ammon for your gracious interest in my new fiction and my audiobooks; I think you will like these other two, and I feel that the narrators did great jobs on them--we connected on ACX (Amazon's great company that works with Audible.com); they did them on consignment, which is a real compliment for a new author. I would like to place you as a friend if you do not mind; my second on Goodreads! The code to Subversion on the Audible.com website is: MJDZ2ZFTU6ZBM; Lonely Pines is: DBAD28AFH62CR; let me know if you have any problems downloading but they should be ok; thank you very much Ammon and yes brief reviews would be greatly appreciated; tell a friend too! cheers; bob ("r. manolakas")

I'm sorry Ammon, I confused your message with another respondent on the message system (I said I was new to this--and actually, before a few weeks ago, I was new to blogging as well--it shows!). Oh well, I guess you have more codes now and I hope you don't mind. thanks, r. manolakas Ps. I really do hope you enjoy them.

You know Trish, I dearly loved the series too, and Rod Serling was such a great writer--and he wrote screenplays too (Seven Days in May). May I offer you the code (to free download on the Audible.com website where your Amazon account number works too) "A Pool, A Suitor, A Cellist" trilogy of strange, short novelettes: TLKSGH2PPJCMR; I do hope you enjoy them, and please feel free to write a brief review on Audible.com if you do--thank you very much, and perhaps I can add you as a "friend" on Goodreads--one of my first! bob ("r. manolakas") Ps. If you would like codes to Subversion and Lonely Pines, let me know. Subversion Life on the Edge of Eternity by R. Manolakas

R. Manolakas | 33 comments Flip and everyone, I think you will all enjoy my short, convenient novelettes, and my personal favorite in the new "Bright Shadows Series" book is "A Suitor"--a startling treatment of a young man who is ambitious and the ending will surprise most of you; also, in my new paranormal thriller novel with a medical bent "Subversion", we deal with a huge lab that warehouses dangerous viruses--and this is actually happening throughout the world today. My background is medical, and I can assure you that the process described in the novel--although approximated for dramatic effect--has some validity. r. manolakas ps. I have some free download codes for all from the great companies, ACX and Audible.com
