The Time Keeper
question
Death

Hi, I don't know where to ask questions so I just typed in here, hope you all will reply.
I need to find books which talk about how the characters see death as something we can control. Like when the characters decide to commit suicide or undergo cryonics procedure. Mitch Albom's The Time Keeper is the first thing that comes into my mind but I cannot think of anything else. Do you guys have any recommendations?

The Magic strings of Frankie Presto, Five people you meet in Heaven and First phone call from Heaven, all also by Mitch Albom, deal with different aspects of death.
Not sure if they fit in with what you're looking for, but well worth a read anyway.
