I agree Linda. There are so many books I want to read that I don't reread.

Anything counts for a re-read Becky.
Seems I missed June 4th as National Cheese Day to match our featured author this month.

√ 2. Repeat Day: Reread a favorite: Only You by Elizabeth Lowell - 6.04
√ 3. Old Maid's Day: The Fortune Hunter by Diane Farr - 6.20

Meant to post my results for this challenge sooner, but wasn't home Saturday, and was kept offline the last two nights by severe storms. It's nice to not only see the sun today, but to have slightly cooler temps as well. The last few days have been so humid! Anyway, I didn't think I would do well with these, but did better than expected, quite by accident.
Cat book -- Read a book with a cat in it: Lost and Fondue by Avery Aames
(Rags the cat.)
Repeat day -- re-read a book: Rascal by Sterling North
(A childhood favorite I've been meaning to re-read since stumbling across a copy at the library used book sale. Was interesting to read descriptions of my state/area of 100 years ago, something I did not pick up on as a kid.)
Old Maid's Day -- book with a spinster:
Clobbered by Camembert by Avery Aames
(I'm thinking of the character Prudence, who does not live up to her name.)
Beautician's Day -- book with scene at barber shop/beauty parlor: East of Eden by John Steinbeck
(I admit to pushing it a bit here, as people are mentioned visiting these establishments at least three times, though no scenes actually take place there.)
Sun Glasses Day -- Read a book set at a beach: The Swiss Family Robinson by Johann David Wyss
(If you want a beach setting, look for a book set on an island, LOL.)
Cat book -- Read a book with a cat in it: Lost and Fondue by Avery Aames
(Rags the cat.)

Well, the previous update is the last one. I didn't finish the beach book (real life, you know).

Three out of five isn't bad, especially when life gets in the way. ;)
