Xander bumped into the door, his two rolling suitcases in his hands. Then, he realized that he had to turn the doorknob in order to go into his dorm. Then, he turned the doorknob, looking at his roommate. It looked like he got comfortable, which was great because that made him seem chill and outgoing. Xander went to the other bed and set his suitcases by the headboard.

Xander looked at his roommate. Of course he recognized that he was sitting on his bed, but sometimes he forgot the littlest things that happened around him. He also wondered if his roommate was actually Irish, but he wasn't going to ask a lot of questions. "I'm Xander Craft." He replied.

Xander looked up at his roommate again after sliding some of his items under his bed, which consisted of a few books and a box of cleats and sneakers. "Oh, um, I am currently sixteen years old. I turned sixteen back in June." He replied. Hopefully he could learn how to break out of his shell. He certainly didn't want his roommate to think that he was socially awkward all of the time.

At least Xander and his new roommate had something in common. They were both the same age. Luckily he wasn't older because that would be kind of strange. He wasn't younger which was great because he didn't get along with younger kids that well. "Oh. You play baseball?" He asked curiously even though he knew the answer already.

"Oh cool." Xander replied, crossing her legs like a little kid. "I play basketball and football. It is mostly just the bench right now with football, but this guy just got injured, so I get to take his spot. Also, he's a senior, so he will be leaving next year." He added. Then, he watched as he placed a hat on his head. "What baseball team do you like the most?"

"Right now I am currently an outside linebacker." He replied, nodding. He felt great about getting out of his shell in front of his roommate. He was glad that he wasn't being so shy around a lot of people. Having a conversation with a new friend was great. "It is kind of hard, but it is really cool to play that spot." Then, he thought about which baseball team he liked. "That's cool. I like the Dodgers and the Marlins. Mum likes the Dodgers and Dad likes the Marlins."

Xander nodded. Even though he was still kind of nervous about the whole entire situation that involved football, injuries and being substituted all of the time, he knew that it was still going to be very fun because he got to play. "Oh. I don't see why people do that. Mostly because they stick up for their team like it is their own kid."
