Hi, Last week I googled all the local libraries and schools on Long Island- where I live. I also had a list from NABE of Bookstores that comes when you "show" your book with him.
I had Brit make up inexpensive brochures- but I want to say- before that I used just a printed sheet of the list of our book, with brief descriptions and an author bio. Brit included a paper with instructions from Createspace how to order wholesale.
Yesterday I sold over 20 paperbacks in distribution, today 34. We make very little on it, I know, but it gets your books into more hands. So, if you make a flyer, and print that Createspace page, plus postage- it's an inexpensive way to get your book noticed.
