Part of Grayson's guilt was due to him having hid when he discovered the girl on his family's property. Your thoughts about his behavior and decision to keep this information from his mother? Did he do the right thing? Selfish or selfless action?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 849 comments What a horror for a child to discover. There is simply no way a child could have processed what he discovered. That he hid is understandable. Not telling his mom, I just don't know.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1392 comments I can understand his guilt, since he could not separate what the little boy inside him did and thought from the adult whose conscience was more fully developed. This resonates for me, since I think it is often the case with sentient beings!

Anita (anitanodiva) | 849 comments I think maybe the little boy was just acting out of self preservation. If I hid, I never saw that horrible thing and it will just go away.
