Alexis | 861 comments Hello, everyone!

Erin had a great idea. We plan to lure newsletter subscriptions by offering anyone who signs up not only the chance to win Amazon giftcards but also a FREE e-book. We thought about it and decided that an anthology was the right way to go.

Do you have a short story written that you'd like to donate? (Under 7.500 words)
If so, we'd love to hear from you.

Deadline is MARCH 21.
Theme is: SPRING

We won't be charging for the book so you won't get any royalties from it, but you'd have the chance to introduce your writing talents to a new audience.

We'll design the bookcover after we receive the stories.

For now, we have SIX open slots and will accept every genre except Erotica.

Thank you!
Update: All slots have been filled, but we'll be releasing a summer anthology as well.

Angel | 723 comments I have one. I've already finished. It's not romance. It's horror with a weird, wicked, sense of humor at the end, with symbolism, dark, teen to young adult/ adult/ sort of a flash fiction feel. I wrote it over a year ago to stave off writer's block. It's over 2,000 words, will that do, Alexis?

Perfect. Will you email it to me? My email is [email protected]

You will also get an ABOUT THE AUTHOR page in the book. Is it OK I just cope the information on your Amazon page and list your books or would you like to include new information?

Lol! I always try to be extremely thorough. I'm very meticulous that way. You can blame it on my OCD. I always try to make sure that's taken care of among other things when it comes to my writing or anything. Oh, yes, please include the list of my books as well on the author page. Thanks!

Yes! That is exactly what we'll be doing. My brain is on 75% today, Alex. We'll be having a free e-book giveaway every sale with a seasonal theme.

Shannon wrote: "As it appears all the spaces may be taken for Spring, can I hop onto Alex's Summery bandwagon?"

Of course! That'd be great

message 38: by Alexis (new)

No, it has to be spring related. Maybe a horror event that takes place in Spring or something like that.

message 41: by Amy (new)

How about "Spring Reborn" or
"Spring Rebirth." I'm much better with titles with my own stories, it just comes naturally and smoothly with no worries. But maybe you can try those two titles I just threw out there. I don't know just trying to help. Or the "Born Again Spring" or "Tomorrow's Beginning Spring." Oh, well.

Ok, another author I just found out already has "Spring Reborn" but I don't see anyone with "Spring Rebirth." Or "Resurrection Spring."

Or you can do what I did with my horror short story. It was already set in the spring, but I did light touches or rather symbols of spring like tulips on the curtains, a rain shower, warm temperatures, sunny or partly cloudy to signify the spring season.

message 50: by Ember-Raine (new)

Ember-Raine Winters (ember-raine_winters) | 186 comments Ok so I have a problem! I have two spring stories floating around in my brain! I think I am probably going to write both and see which I like better! Once I get them both written does anyone want to help me decide which one to submit? The ideas are for a sports romance and a Dystopian type romance I'm going to work on them now and try to get them written by Monday!
