This was such a sweet, lovely book. I didn't like it quite as much as the first, but still.
Lawson and Jack are off on another adventure to save a dying butterfly species and they are as hot as ever. I still loved Lawson so much. I loved Jack a little less here, since he seemed to have lost something...I don't quite know, but something. I did still love the way he took care of Lawson since that was major thing in his book.
I'm really looking forward to reading Red Dirt Heart Imago, well once I finish my Red Dirt Heart series re-read that is. =)

Review — This was just a great book from start to finish! I love Charley’s self-deprecating humor and work to help the departed make peace before they move on. However, for as funny as she is, Charley has a less than stellar past and a daunting future. The heartfelt moments between Charley and her dad and uncle were precious. She is so loved, yet so misunderstood. There were some very interesting layers that I look forward to seeing expanded on in the upcoming installments.

Remember, the winning team is the team that has all completed posts posted first. Winning teams in the past have usually had their books completed on Saturday morning following the last call.
There is no pressure here - just letting you all know how the winning has gone in the past. If you can get the reading done and posted and we have a chance to win... YAY!! If not, then it was a fun challenge and I love doing it no matter what :-D

Review: This book was okay. Slow getting started. I loved the scenes between the MC and his godson. The love story was okay but predictable.

Another good one! I think I liked the first one a little better, but this was still good. Charley learned a little more about herself in this one, we mostly learned that there is even more that we don't know. The ending was a little creepy, but so was the ending of the first - it sure makes you make to read the next one!

Review — I enjoyed this book, but I didn’t love it until closer to the end. It took a while to really get into the story, but once I was hooked I was done for! There were some very interesting twists and turns, and I look forward to seeing where Kate’s story goes next.

I think we are in good shape to win if we manage to read fast the end of the week! But a lot of teams seem pretty competitive this round.

Review:
This was relatively short and sweet, considering it's PNR, but I enjoyed it all the same. After meeting Terrent in previous books and especially after Terrent and Maggie's first meeting, I expected their reunion to be less easy. But they sort of fell smoothly back into rhythm and Maggie didn't fight against herself as much as I expected. Like I said, kind of sweet. I am looking forward to Jase's story though!!

I am out of town at a Rugby tournament today and tomorrow. I expect to be between events when the call is made. Jane did say in the Q&A she might make it early - but not by much. Anyway, I will keep an eye out and will post here as soon as I see it.
I'll also post my selection once the call is made but I probably won't be back to look at the thread until I finish my book and am ready to post it as completed - just didn't want you all to think I totally disappeared. I'll read as fast as I can tonight, though!
I think we have a decent chance to win but like I said before, I don't really care one way or another. I just love this challenge!! :-D

I think we are in good shape to..."
fixed. thanks!

I'll be out, but on my phone when the theme is called, and I'll be checking. I do have that book loaded on my phone so I can start listening right away though. Fingers crossed it all works out.

This was such fun to revisit. It was great to go back to the beginning and see where Jacob and Vic got started. Their chemistry is great, as always and the story is just written in such a fun engaging manner. This is one of my favorite series and I'm looking forward to listening to the whole series again in preparation for a new installment...hopefully coming soon!!!

Completed 5.19.17 *4- Stars*
As with many of the novellas in this series, this wasn't as good as the regular books. I enjoyed it because it was Roarke and Eve and had Susan Ericksen narrating. This had an interesting twist of Romany possession and seeing the dead, rather than just Eve standing for them. All in all, a nice way to spend a few hours - a visit with old friends, a good narrator and a nice little mystery with a good outcome!

Week 11: Option 2

Review: This is my second reread, and I liked it equally the same as the first time. really enjoyed this novella length book. I liked Sloane from the beginning, he was hilarious. Sloane is a freshman new pledge living in the Delta Sigma Phi at Pennsylvania State University, he is extremely cynical for such a young age. We can attribute these to his not so attentive parents, who are world class psychologist and jet setters. Sloane immediately attacked to the big buff guy with tattoos washing dishes in the frat house. Hank is that guy, I liked him, sure he seemed a little OCD-ish with the working out, but to each it's own. I honestly didn't see him as the frat type based on the other guys but that's what I liked about the story.
Instantly Sloane is taken with Hank, because how could he not? This guy is a walking contradiction. I liked the little ways that Sloane tried to figure Hank out. It was down right funny at times. Micah is definitely a character that steals certain scenes. He's Hank's older brother and president of the frat, he also a sweet, down to earth guy. I liked Micah because he was super supportive to both guys.

Review: Loved this book. Quick easy read. The mc's had great banter between them and the chemistry was off the charts. This was truly an opposites attract book. Will definitely read more by thus author.

Review:
This was fun. I enjoy the series - it doesn't take itself too seriously! They finally got the evil mastermind in this one but it looks like there is more danger on the horizon!

Review — This was a fun, quick read. I can’t believe I didn’t put more of the plot together, but that was probably because I was caught up in Addison’s drama. Some of the story moved a bit too fast, but the sexy time definitely did not move slow.
