I just finished Passing by Nella Larsen in category 17, a classic by a person of color. It is a powerful little book, I recommend it.
If it was a normal book club, it would be for what the group's current monthly read was. It isn't for anything in this group.
Just finished my first #ReadHarder book: A children's classic published before 1980 - The Story of Ferdinand By: Munroe Leaf (published 1936)
For the essay anthology prompt I am reading Ten Women which was recommended to me by a fellow breast cancer survivor.
I'm reading
for A Book w/ a Cover You Hate task. I'm kind of over it already, but I am going to finish it.
Currently listening to The Diary of a Young Girl for a book that was published posthumously. It's read by Selma Blair and is good. Kinda puts me to sleep though lol
I'm getting ready to begin the Orphan Train. I don't think it fits anything in the challenge but I've heard so much about it so... hopefully it lives up to the hype.
I'm reading Born a Crime and I'm surprised at how funny + informative it is.
The Last Mrs. Parrish finally arrived after being on hold for 26 weeks. It doesn't exactly fit any of the challenges, but it is one that I have been waiting for! I'll be starting it once I get home from work.

I just started reading Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe, and Persepolis 2: The Story of a Return. I have kind of high expectations for both.
