I know the policy is clear: Do not add an Amazon-assigned ASIN to books that were released without ISBN numbers.

I even found this discussion about what to do if an ASIN is automatically imported (I don't recall seeing such).

And then I see this one: Voyage by Bus: Seeing America by Land Yacht, see librarian comment. So, is this an exception to the rule which I don't understand?

It was, but it only applied temporarily -- and does not any longer. Edited.
