Please help me to remove an 'answered question' on my author profile. When I click on it I cannot find an 'edit' or 'remove' button. I answered the question completely honestly but mentioned some issues to do with my childhood that I'm happy for strangers to know, but now I want to invite my mother onto Goodreads, and I know she'll be really unhappy if she reads the information in the answer. The question asked was, 'Do you find any of your own characteristics seep into your characters?'

Here's how to remove your answer from a question:

1. Navigate to the book's page.
2. Scroll down to the Reader Q&A section and click "See # questions about."
3. Under "Answered Questions," find the question that you answered. Click on the green "See Your Answer" link beneath the question.
4. You should land on the dedicated page for your answer. Click on the gray "edit" link beneath your answer.
5. Click "Yes" in the pop-up to confirm.

Click on the question, next to your answer you should see a DELETE thingy...

Thanks for that you two! I have now managed to delete it... Family harmony will be restored...

So nice of people to help. Boy I can understand the concern. My first novel was very autobiographical, and it got out to my family that I'd written it and I truly wish it hadn't!

Hi! For some reason my answered questions don't appear to be attached to any book. So when I follow the instructions and go down to Q&A they aren't there. They are only on my profile. And I cannot see any option to 'delete'?
