I'm with you Melissa. I would love to re-read this whole series too, and I hardly ever re-read anything. But I don't have the time right now either :(

It makes me sad. I have only read the first one but have several of the others. We shall see. Sigh!

I ended up starting the book right on time - by accident.

I am around 17% of the book - in the "Karigan speaks" chapter and I am having the time of my life yet again.
This book (series at this point) just speaks to me, it feels extremely relate-able, especially when it comes to Karigan.

I am just so curious to see what the difficulty will be this time (view spoiler)[ since the wrath has been freed and it seems a very ancient and dangerous foe. I also loved the description of the tomb in which the wraith was actually imprisoned, the images of gods on the walls. I found that scene extremely interesting!

I keep having a blast with this magic system - magic being this extremely scary unknown that most folks are scared of; yet the king is fascinated and the green riders still have this ability to use a significantly toned down version of magic. And I find the choice of a magic ability per rider a great choice! (hide spoiler)]

I am about 50% in right now and I am having a blast.

(view spoiler)[ I love how the magic system is not working properly and how that affects all the Riders. As a side note, I love to find out which abilities the Riders have and I have to say I am most impressed!

I am genuinely curious to see how the journal of Hadriax el Fex interacts with the story; is he the wraith? Or is it Alessandros?

I also enjoyed the trip into the past that Kerigan went through - albeit it was a quite challenging moment for her, especially the aftermath.
Also, who are these people of the second empire? What do they want?
And what happened to Alton? Is he still alive? Is he interacting with the forest? or did the forest claim his life/spirit? (hide spoiler)]

So many questions, so little answers right now!

I need to re read these! I wish I had the time. There are so many little things that I've forgotten and I love that you are enjoying this series so much Aristea.

Quick question for the group - will we continue to read the series with a certain cadence?
I just want to see whether there is a reading plan - or to make one for myself!

I am reading this right now but going slower. I will definitely read the rest of the series but don't know when exactly.

See here is another one that is stressing me out. I read the first one just like I did with Wheel of Time and never finished the series. I would like to re-read both and finish both series but where is the time. Hmmmm......

I'm reading the Green Rider right now and will be continuing with the series.
