Consequences discussion

One of my colleagues suggested this book and i decided to give it a shot..

1st - The book started with a typical kidnapping story, just another asshole who's obsessed with a girl who turned him down...

2nd - I hate how these Authors are making it ok for girls to be sexually & emotionally abused by rich controlling freaks! IT IS NOT OK to be controlled or abused by anyone for the sake of love/money/fame ext..

3rd - A lot of Middle eastern women fight for their rights against these type of men every single day, of course this is not applicable to everyone but the fact that a women wrote this book is very disturbing.

That was one hell of an ending but i'm still disgusted, offended, and irritated.

Agree. I won't be reading anything else by this author.

For the first time since I picked up my first book of Alice in wonderland at age 6, i'm officially bowing out ......totally giving up midway through a book
Books to me was a form of brief escape from the stress of everything living, so....... my problem with this book was DISTURBING. ....I enjoy dark reads and even starve for more.....this was just disturbing in a creepy make you want to fling your reader and set it on fire then drink a vat of bleach hoping to wipe the memories out
Dear Me Romig,
I think it's very brave to sweat,tolled and rocked the bloodshot look from sleepless night over a book and have it published for us to dissect at our leisure with no thought of the pains a writer pass through. Your writing is good and I was hooked from the start but I'm a woman and never want to entertain the thought of abuse being justified in any way. Sorry i don't like the book (can't Compartmentalize like Claire)
Looking forward to other books from you with hopefully a less disturbed plot
