Amy Of Tarth Trying to fix yourself
Thread through the needle
Needle through the thread.
Atoning the broken stitches down your back
Your wings no longer attached
Ripped off by that voice inside your head
Singing quietly, humming, screaming;
Maybe you should bleed yourself an ocean instead
Tormented current pulling, tugging,
Dragging you under
Forced down by the weight of the sky
Beating you bloody with every plunder.
Clubs and stones to paint the roses red
Coughing up love, expelled from your lungs,
Stitches staggered across your mosaic heart
Repaired each time you broke it
With their knives; and slits across your skin,
As punishment for when you fell;
You're not an angel anymore, maybe you should just go to Hell.

This is some tough stuff to read, and I'm guessing it's even tougher to live through.
I've had a few tough times of my own, but willpower, along with a choice to get beyond the pain has changed the torture into a life of joy and gratification. Hope you might find it on your own.

Amy Of Tarth Thanks. I was experimenting because usually I'm a lot more blunt with what I'm saying.
