I do apologise for making this so late, but I've been struggling with severe back pain for the last week.

Nyssa is a psychic empath and a former private investigator. In 1904 she travels to Cornwall to work as a companion to the Dowager Lady Kirby. Nyssa is seeking a quieter life away from the bustle of London, but is intrigued by the disappearance of the dowager's daughter-in-law, Lady Marie and embarks on solving the mystery. Helped by the younger son, Captain Daveth, Nyssa must follow the clues to what lurks on Bodmin Moor, as her feelings for the captain change from admiration into love.
