I quite enjoyed the book (not an easy read though) and BBC generally do a good job of adaptations, I'm looking forward to watching it!

I agree. The BBC does a great job. I will have to get this book read before it comes out.

I wonder if BBC America will carry it? Hope so!

I would assume so, JK Rowling does have international appeal.

It's going to be shown over here (UK) in July I think.

So soon? I love the book and I'm very glad it's a BBC adaption. Hopefully, I'll find a way to watch it without cable.

Oh my God, so how many days have I got to read it before it shows?

Aaaaaah, I've just gone back to the thing I read skimmed over .... it says that production starts in July, and it would be shown sometime in 2014

Awesome. I imagine this would have the same feel of something like Broadchurch, and with any luck a good cast like that show too ;)

I didn't think Casual Vacancy was as dark as Broadchurch , but that just my take. In any case, I am looking forward to seeing it.
