Hello! So who's who? Are you the time traveler or am I? And are we doing boy and girl?

And you're the accidental time traveler, I'm the person from the 1940's.
Alright. So is my person from present day or more in the future?
Sure, can you do yours first? That way I know how much detail you're looking for. (:

Looking through your posts, however, tell me that your detail is good enough :)
Alrighty that sounds good! And yeah, I do get overly detailed on my roleplaying. (: So just name and appearance?

I'd prefer you starting. Perhaps you should wake up on the ground, wondering what happened. But whatever you want, you can do.
I like that idea! Give me a minute to start it. (:
Alexis's head felt as if it was pulsing as she slowly opened her eyes. She felt as if she was a ragdoll that was tossed against the ground. She stretched her fingers as she felt the ground. It was cold, and hard. Her vision was very faint and the dust from the ground blurred her surroundings. She raised her body and squinted her eyes. Around her were large crates and a small building with a blinking outside light. AS she began to really get her mind together she noticed other lights far off. The smell of salt water filled her nose and a cool wind struck her. She began walk around, taking further investigations to this new area. As she looked further out into the distance she saw ships and a ship crane. She was on a shipping doc. Her eyes widened, 'Did that dusty old thing actually work?' Her heart raced now as she ran off the doc onto a quiet street.

She was heading down to the warehouse on 43rd street, to help with the riveting. However, she was still wearing a dress at the moment in order to maintain her respect in their community and look classy, even in the midst of war. She'd put her jumpsuit on when she arrived.
Most of the men weren't around, as they were all off fighting in the war; this included Scarlett's husband.
As she neared the corner, she suddenly collided with another person coming around.
"Oh! Excuse me, ma'am," she said politely, smiling. Though there was something...off about this woman. Her clothes were odd, as was her makeup and hair. They didn't have many products due to the shortages because of the war, and based on what the other woman was wearing, it looked as if there was a black market somewhere near. Not to mention she was dressed in an unladylike way.
Alexis paused, startled by the stranger. Looking at the woman she noticed the huge difference in appearance. The stranger looked as though she was straight out of a WWII poster. Alexis, still struggling with the time and date she was placed in quickly ignored the stranger's comment and asked, "Um, uh... what time is it?.. er, what year is it?" Alexis knew she must've sounded stupid to this woman, but she needed to know if she was going to fix this problem.

"The year is 1944, and it is nearly noon. Why do you ask? Are you alright?" Scarlett asked her, genuinely concerned. She could have been from the asylum a few streets down; she could even have been a stowaway on the ship.
She swallowed thickly and waited for the other female to respond.
Alexis rubbed her forehead trying to fully grasp what was happening. 'I'm talking to someone in 1944... I'm insane,' she told herself. Realizing that she hadn't responded back to the woman she quickly replied, "Oh sorry, um. I just blanked out for a minute and...." Alexis couldn't think of any other reason to needing to know the year. 'Why would someone need the year?'
Getting back to the woman she continued, "I'm fine, just alittle dizzy," she gave a sarcastic laugh, "must be the sea water," She tried to play it off.
"Um, so thank you.. ma'am. I'll be heading off now."
Alexis's legs were still weak, but she had to walk. She didn't want this stranger following her. Slowly she began waddling toward what looked like a city.

"I'm sorry, but I didn't catch your name," she called out, a poor excuse. In truth, Scarlett was just a caring person and needed to make sure she wasn't sick or mental. They didn't need someone like that running around; not at this time.
"Oh, it's Alexis, but don't worry about me." Alexis faked a smile, she didn't want this woman getting involved. Alexis didn't want anyone involved, in case this could change the future. She tried to out walk the woman, "Please I'm fine, don't worry."

Alexis turned to Scarlett, "I'm from America, and I live or lived in San Francisco. But I should be going." She continued to walk away, but this time fell flat on her face.

San Francisco...they didn't have many transfers from there.
Alexis was tired, her brain had been stretched from multiple time zones. "I'm.. alright." she paused as she regained balance. She sighed, knowing that she might need this woman's help, "Okay look, I may need some help. But I can't ask for much, it could mess up a lot of things."

True, she was definitely late to work at this point. However, this girl's predicament could be used as an excuse.
"I just need a phone... and maybe a place to sleep."
Alexis was tiring out and could barely keep up with Scarlett at this point. Other workers walked past the two with concerned and confused faces.

Alexis thought for a minute, 'Phone! What are you going to do with a phone anyway!?'
The two headed over toward a close wall were Alexis could lean up against it. "Um, then just a place to stay would be nice." She figured with her money, she wouldn't be able to get anything let alone a room at a hotel. And she didn't want the time line to be affected just by her showing her money. She knew she'd have to play it safe. And this woman seemed pretty concerned with her well being, and was her only help.

Alexis paused, feeling the two twenty dollar bills in her pocket. She new this money wasn't 1940's standards, and she knew at this point she was pretty much broke. She sighed, "No,.. but I could make it up to you through other things! I can clean and do yard work."

"Um, I don't know.." This made Alexis really realize her problem. What was she going to do? How long would this take to get home? Out of nowhere tears began to fall from her face. She was terrified now. "I don't know." She cried. A stranger offered to help but Scarlett gave them a "I'm good," head gesture. Alexis added, "What am I going to do!?"

Alexis looked up at her and whispered, "I can't.." Whipping her eyes she added, "It's a big long story, and if I told you, it could ruin a lot of things. It's not that I'm some crazy German undercover agent or anything, I've always been from the U.S., but I'm a lot younger than I seem."

She walked up to a random passerby in the same attire she wore for work, and whispered something. She came back. "Ready?"
Alexis shook her head yes. As the two walked away from the shipping docs, Alexis studied the area where she had first came. No weird clouds or weird futuristic glow to that spot. Alexis let out a sigh of disappointment. If only she hadn't snuck into that old garage. She felt bad for this woman. She didn't mean for her to get dragged into this, especially knowing how much was already on her plate, with a husband at war, a job to uphold and now a nutcase. Alexis wondered if she should tell this woman anything about her, it wouldn't hurt anything that much right? "Um, Scarlett," Alexis bit her lip pausing her sentence.

"Yes, is something on your mind?" She said in a quiet voice, though it's not as if she was nervous or scared or even tired. She just was tasked with walking at the moment.
"Thank you for being so kind to me." Alexis wasn't sure if she could bring up time traveling yet. She followed alongside Scarlett slowly. It was so serial knowing that she was in 1944. 'At least war is almost over,' thought Alexis, trying to remember up on her history. "So do you live far?"

(Sorry.)
Alexis smiled, "I wish it was, but I did get into somewhat of an accident." Taking a deep breath she continued, "Here, do you think that in the future, time travel could be possible?"
((It's fine (: ))
((It's fine (: ))

((sorry, family issues. ): ))
Alexis kept her head down as they walked and replied, "Well then be prepared to think I'm crazy." She paused taking a deep breathe and began pulling out the money in her pocket. "This is U.S. currency in two thousand fourteen." She handed it over to Scarlett, hoping just that might prove something.

She placed it back into Alexis' palm.
"It's money," she placed it back into her pocket, then grabbed something else, handing it over to Scarlett she said, "This is my wallet. I have a couple pictures inside of it," Pulling out the pictures she began pointing out things, "See, here's me and my brother at the statue of Liberty in 2013, and here's the San Francisco Bay Bridge. Oh! Here's one of me infront of my car, now you gotta admit it's pretty futuristic to now right? You have to believe me."
