Once again, share your favorite read of the month. Remember to limit yourself to one book and share everything you read over in the "What are you reading in March" discussion.

This was my first grimdark novel and I fell in love with the characters I will continue with the series once I read some other books

First law is a great series.

Last Argument of Kings. Glotka and me would totally be crippled homies cutting off fingers and forcing confessions together.

If I were finished Deadhouse Gates yet it would be really tough to decide. But as it's consuming all my brain cells at the moment Abercrombie takes the win

I also like the codex alera series I read the first 3 before I got burned out and couldn't continue I'll probably read the 4th book eventually
I think its the roman influences that got me liking it

I'm excited to continue on, although I'm trying to pace myself so I don't get burnt out too. Although considering I'm 14th in line for the next one at the library it'll be about 8 months to a year before I get ahold of it haha.

I read Cursor's Fury last month and thought it was good and I'm doing Captain's Fury now. They've both been much better than the first two books. Tavi has been way less whiny.

It's true, he did tend to whine a lot.

I've never read GGK but I have Tigana on my shelves, my friend gave it to me! is he as good as everyone said?

I've not read GGK before and read Al-Rassan half in March and half in April and I almost chose it as my favourite March read. It's different and probably not for everyone but it made me cry and books that manage to elicit strong emotions always get a good rating from me. I now want to read Tigana.

It was the same for me Olivia, it made me cry. If a book can do that it's going to get a good rating. Petrik, if you enjoy historical fantasy, I think it's well worth reading. I believe GGK is as good as everyone says. 5 stars from me fro Al-Rassan.
