Adriana | 3733 comments Some planned reads:
Hereafter (Shadowlands, #2) by Kate Brian Endless (Shadowlands, #3) by Kate Brian The Problem with Forever by Jennifer L. Armentrout The Only Pirate at the Party by Lindsey Stirling Tell Me Three Things by Julie Buxbaum Heartless by Marissa Meyer Walk the Edge (Thunder Road, #2) by Katie McGarry

I don't know how much I'll get to or if I'll be able to read more. I am turning in some last things and on the hunt for a teaching position. Graduation is so near! I can't believe it.

Danielle ♥ (readwithmedani) | 2410 comments Hey guys!!! This is all I have planned so far for April:
I'm for sure kicking the month off with Caraval (Caraval, #1) by Stephanie Garber & A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire, #1) by George R.R. Martin .
then I want to read A Clash of Kings (A Song of Ice and Fire, #2) by George R.R. Martin Poison Study (Study, #1) by Maria V. Snyder City of Ashes (The Mortal Instruments, #2) by Cassandra Clare & Snow Like Ashes (Snow Like Ashes, #1) by Sara Raasch .

@siobhan @Adriana I am Hufflepuff too <3

message 20: by Bianca (last edited Apr 19, 2017 02:47AM) (new)

Bianca Sy (sy_bianca) Hi!! ^__^
I'm planning to finish Clockwork Princess (The Infernal Devices, #3) by Cassandra Clare this month and read the following books:
Girl in Pieces by Kathleen Glasgow All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them The Original Screenplay by J.K. Rowling

and I also plan to read: Young Women on the Journey by Various writers but I am not sure if this book will count.

Adriana | 3733 comments Hi Danielle and Bianca!

@Danielle - Yes! Hufflepuffs unite!

@Bianca - I just read Fantastic Beasts. It brought me back to the movie so much so that I forgot for a second taking a break that I was reading it and not watching it. My mind is weird :P

I'm going to finish reading Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder (Hannah Swensen, #1) by Joanne Fluke today after I come back from watching Power Rangers XD

message 22: by Eunice (new)

Eunice | 329 comments Hey guys.

I've don't really have anything planned for this month except for my ARCs and what I'm currently reading which is Book Thief.

message 23: by Bianca (new)

Bianca Sy (sy_bianca) The book looks like in a Shakespearean Style (is there a 'Shakespearean' word? lol), Adriana. Does it remind you of Shakespeare?

message 24: by Bianca (new)

Bianca Sy (sy_bianca) OMG Eunice! I like that book!!! And you're from Manila, Philippines?! O_O

message 25: by Siobhan (new)

Siobhan Quinlan | 2096 comments Im currently reading Queen of Shadows (Throne of Glass, #4) by Sarah J. Maas and Splintered (Splintered, #1) by A.G. Howard hoping to finish splintered by tuesday

message 26: by Adriana (new)

Adriana | 3733 comments Hey Eunice!

@ Bianca - Well it's a screenplay of the actual movie so a Shakespeare book would be like a playscript I guess? Yeah, it does remind me of those types of books. Cursed Child felt the same way.

@Siobhan - Hope you enjoy both of them (:

I finished my first book and it was a dud. I'm going to read The Only Pirate at the Party by Lindsey Stirling next to lighten things up.

message 27: by Bianca (new)

Bianca Sy (sy_bianca) @Adriana Oh, right. Shakespeare's are plays.

message 28: by Adriana (new)

Adriana | 3733 comments I finished my second book. It's time to buckle down on some things so I probably won't be finishing two books in a day in the near future but I'll keep reading. Up next: Hereafter (Shadowlands, #2) by Kate Brian

message 29: by Bianca (new)

Bianca Sy (sy_bianca) My goodness!! You have a lot of time, Adriana. I am envious of you.

message 30: by Bianca (new)

Bianca Sy (sy_bianca) I think I am going to be able to finish Clockwork Princess (The Infernal Devices, #3) by Cassandra Clare tonight (or 'til 1-3 A.M., I guess). So do you guys think that it'd be okay to write a short review and put "Full Review to Come" at the end? I really think that I would need to have enough time to gather all my thoughts and feelings for this indisputably awesome book. ^_^

message 31: by Danielle ♥ (last edited Apr 03, 2017 07:11AM) (new)

Danielle ♥ (readwithmedani) | 2410 comments @Bianca Yeah they let you do that as long as you have a few notes in there (or in your status updates) about the book (kinda their "proof").

I'm making good progress with A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire, #1) by George R.R. Martin & Caraval (Caraval, #1) by Stephanie Garber !! They're both so good I keep switching back and forth depending on my mood LOL!

message 32: by Adriana (new)

Adriana | 3733 comments @Bianca - Yeah, I do that all the time.

Well I just have to worry about turning things in and now signing up to get my transcripts and everything to become a substitute before I graduate. This weekend was very chill. This week probably won't be :P

message 33: by Bianca (new)

Bianca Sy (sy_bianca) Thank you, Adriana and Danielle ^_^
Happy reading!! ❤

message 34: by Adriana (new)

Adriana | 3733 comments The fun teams are very serious this time around for some reason. Kind of feel like we are competing against serious teams :P
I should get some reading done today and finish my book by tomorrow. Has anyone seen 13 reasons why on netflix? I binge watched it yesterday and it's really good.

message 37: by Eunice (last edited Apr 04, 2017 09:12AM) (new)

Eunice | 329 comments Those are some pretty big books, Danielle. And true, it does feel like everybody's hyped up this month.

Good luck to everyone in their reading! (And in writing their reviews) Because I'm just lazy with the reviews that I always do it a week or two after reading the book. XD

message 38: by Danielle ♥ (new)

Danielle ♥ (readwithmedani) | 2410 comments @Eunice hehe so do I! I make sure to do a few status updates so the book will count for the challenges and I write reviews later! Gotta dive into the next book! lol.

Bianca Sy (sy_bianca) Umm... Philippine Time Zone?

message 44: by Adriana (new)

Adriana | 3733 comments I'm in Florida so I'm Eastern.

I'm going to try to read as much as I can this weekend. Hopefully we can get to third place.

I'm reading next: Tell Me Three Things by Julie Buxbaum Switching Gears by Chantele Sedgwick The Fix by Natasha Sinel Mind Games (Lock & Mori, #2) by Heather W. Petty Spelled by Betsy Schow

message 45: by Bianca (new)

Bianca Sy (sy_bianca) What will happen if we get the third place or second or first? hehe It's only my second time to join a reading challenge.

message 46: by Adriana (last edited Apr 08, 2017 01:05AM) (new)

Adriana | 3733 comments I'm looking at all the other teams boxes to see which numbers are the most optimal at this point. Here they are so far from least to best. Keep in mind the number of boxes:

#37, #65, #21, #7, #31, #86 = 6

#12, #22, #1, #100, #45, #46 =8

#45, #14, #56, #34, #75, #13 = 8

#17, #53, #13, #19, #29, #39, #49 = 9

#6, #8, #28, #12, #69, #96 = 9

#99, #9, #38, #52, #85, #77 = 10

#4, #88, #97, #1, #100, #21, #31, #41 = 11

#25, #24, #75, #5, #90, #45, #55 = 11

#21, #24, #33, #99, #15, #8, #88 = 12

#2, #3, #5, #6, #7, #8 = 13

#23, #2, #72, #11, #30, #40, #50 = 13

#1, #15, #17, #20, #91, #55, #93, #90 = 15

#10, #11, #58, #59, #73, #74, #91 = 16

#25, #71, #42, #87, #37, #91, #58 = 19

There are more people that are going to get points coming up tomorrow but I want to see if I can figure out a pattern so we at least don't pick the numbers that won't get us that much points. I would focus on picking the number from the last box plus numbers other people haven't picked before to see if we can find which numbers are the best. Make sense?

Bianca Sy (sy_bianca) I agree. It's challenging, fun and exciting at the same time. ^_^

(and it's making me more addicted to this app called Goodreads)
