Hello I am in the mood for a book sort of like Vampire Academy. I am looking for the forbidden romance aspect and the angsty drama the series is good for. PLEASE HELP..lol

The Covenant Series by Jennifer L. Armentrout.

First book is :
Half-Blood

and then there is a spin off which is even better than the original series.

I picked this up last night after someone elses suggestion and I am enjoying it so far but I didn't know there is a spin off. I will have to look that up also :)

Prob don't even read the summary for the spin off. the spin off will spoil the entire original series. :)

You really shouldn't there's a big spoiler in the spin off that we don't know until the last book of the original series.

I agree, The Covenant Series and Titan series (the spin-off) would be the most similar to VA and they're really good too. It has one of the few love triangles I actually liked.

Can't think of anything that similar but there are a few I think that are pretty close:
The Unearthly series
Mythos Academy series
Winterhaven series

I've only read part of Vampire Academy so I only know the general plot, but it sounds like you enjoy supernatural boarding school (a guilty pleasure of mine) type of books. I would recommend series like House of Night by P.C. & Kristin Cast, Shadow Falls by C.C. Hunter, or Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins. You could always go to the book's GR page and look through the recommended books in the top right corner.

the Titans series. first book is The Return

I enjoyed hexhall and the spinoff book.
