Dewey's 24 Hour Read-a-Thon discussion

My thread for April 2017 Readathon.

Welcome!

I am getting excited for tomorrow. I know I will be reading at Infinite Jest because I am behind in my buddyread at Litsy so that will be primary. I also am listening to Sleeping Giants and have several other books in progress so I have my stack. My foods will be Vegan of course. Was looking for my recent crock pot smoky black bean soup recipe but could not find it but it was very good.
A new bookstore (used) opened in the area so I might take the time to drive over there and spend a little time reading, there is also a coffee shop so sounds like a plan.

My first hour is done, I made it to page 603 in

Infinite Jest Hour Two, continued to read, made it to page 603.

Hour 3 read Infinite Jest to page 610 and switched to Sleeping Giants. And Fisnihed that one. First book finished. At the used bookstore open house and purchasedAngle of Repose and A Gate at the Stairs.

From 1:30 to 3:00 at B&N and reading several books but mostly reading Infinite Jest.
From 4 to 9 I have mostly been reading The Dead House now at 40%

Summary for 2017, April Readathon
1. Infinite Jest, read 37 pages and now at page 635.
2. Sleeping Giants, completed
3. The Dead House 40%.

It was a not so successful readathon as I had company and events that were distracting.
