2. K.’s landlady, Frau Grubach, seems to know quite a bit about his arrest. Whose side do you think she’s on? What does K. think?

She comes across as on K's side as he appears to be her favourite lodger.
K is suspicious that she might have told the police something about him that lead to the arrest but eventually he accepts that she is on his side.
