The Dark Calling question

I just read something about 2018, that's not cool if its true it was sopposed to b released in like a week or so.

So, now it is planned to be a summer release. Bummer!! Still hoping that Evie chooses Jack

Need my date with death. Kc let death have his happiness, and for the love of God if this is the last book in the series please make it twice as long as the first book. (Not that I want this series to end) I suspect jack will be the end-game. As there is a card not yet activated which I believe will be him. Although matto would have sensed him as arcana. What if the high preistess's love is jack, well all depends on if he is an arcana. I'm positive it will be a great twist, leaving us on the edge of our seats the way kc always does. Argh my head is screwd I need the book. Lol. Go team Ev-a-ric !!!

Team Aric FOREVER. Please don't kill Death(Aric) he deserves better. I don't want Evie to end up whit Jack I will cry if it happens. And if they end up thogeder then what? She kills all the other players becomes the winner then she lives for a whille a HEA whit Jack and then he dies because he is just a human and she is left miserable, alone and she has hurt and killed Aric who she also loves and could have been with forever. Or if Jack is the dormant card which I think he is Matto told her that she doesn't want to meet the hannged man becauce allfull things happen when he comes. And also Evie herself felt in all her lives that she was drawn to Death(Aric) that they have an eternal conection and honestly after centuries of not being able to be thogether don't they deserv some happines. Don't keep them appart just because she fell in love whit another boy she still loves Aric and they are FOREVER.

What if Jack is the Hangman but never gets activated. Like maybe Matt makes sure he doesn’t activate. Thus he is forever in play. So if all the other arcana die and he remains (but inactive) then wouldn’t the gave end in that scenario?

What if Evie and Death's baby is the hangman? Life + Death = Hangman, thats why the card hasn't been activated because Evie has yet to give birth. Maybe Gran orchestrated the whole situation as punishment for Evie's loving Aric. Maybe Gran created the situation because she knows that the only way Evie would kill Aric is to protect her own offspring the Baby (The hangman). The serpent coiling (the Baby growing) around the tree (Evie) = The hanged man (the Baby) hanging from a tree(Evie)

In Chapter 16 of Endless Knight, when Jack and Evie get together, KC makes it a point to note that Jack is wearing his mother's rosary (hanged man) and that it has a rose on it. I believe that this is foreshadowing that Jack is the inactive card. Plus in later books, Matthew comments many times that Jack is not what he expected. In the beginning he was always saying that Jack was not Arcana but he doesn't say that anymore. Plus in the Novella, where most is redacted, it talks about the Hunter (Jack). At least that is my take on it.

When is it coming out???

I also saw the 'expected publication is january 2018'. Please let Evie end up with Aric- Lord, I'm begging you!!! Team 4Evar-ic!!!!!! I think that Jack might be the dormant card or the minor arcana will be included in the story somehow or Evie and Aric's baby will die (before it's born) so there's nothing tying Evie to Aric. I think the gods might use the minor arcana to get rid of the arcana who rebel. I think Matto might wreck the game or plan to hurt Evie badly (I'm a bit conflicted about that one, though, because Matto always says that he is Evie's friend.) I feel like Matto wants Evie and Aric to end up together as part of his plan; I think he orchestrated Evies pregnancy by messing with her memories - like making her think she was on birth control (in Day Zero it says that one of The Fool's powers is memory implantation and absorption, and it says that one of his special skills is genetic memory [not sure what that is but is sounds relevant]). I think Evie's Gran may have done something to ensure that she won't end up with Aric. In Arcana Rising, it mentions that Evie's Gran says that a 'serpent coils around the tree... and chokes it's roots'; the tree might be Evie and the roots might be her powers; the serpent could be the baby or Evie's tourniquet. It also meantions that Evie's Gran says that a 'salamander stares at her from the shadows'; this could mean lark is spying (I think that might be a bit of a far stretch though- I don't think Lark is going to turn on them)?
