Louise | 4436 comments My feeling is that when you play the game all the time it's helpful, from time to time, to get away from the very common word endings, such as er, ed, ic, and ly. It makes it a bit more fun and leads to a wider variety of words being used.

I agree with Louise. We play all the time, every day and this leads to a wider variety of words. "LY" is another common combo with few choices.
