Why doesn't the "combine editions" page ignore articles?
It struck me when I was combining (and looking for) a few books today that the sorting was by the non-sort title. Why is that?

It's probably because the sort title is so new! It would definitely be nice to have the sort title on the combine page; I'm pretty sure it was suggested before, when the sort title was first implemented, but I don't remember if there was a reason why not or if the idea just got lost in the shuffle. Again, it might be a good idea to mention it in the Feedback group to get the attention of the developers....
