SciFi and Fantasy eBook Club discussion

I'm new, not just to Goodreads, but as an author too. I'm a pretty interactive sort of chap on other forums, and I really don't want to put my foot in it here. The reason I found you isn't because I'm drawn to publicity as a moth to a flame, (or not entirely), but because I've been a dedicated Kindle Keyboard addict since 2009. I'm on my third model because I don't have the tools or skills to replace the screen on an original KK, so I have to pay exorbitant prices for second-hand ones on eBay. Anyway, the reason for this lengthy intro is to say that, yes, I need reviews, but no, I'm seriously not going to ask for any in the wrong place, Except by accident. I do get things wrong sometimes...

I've been using Kindle 2 but when I tried out Barnes&Nobles I switched to it in a week. And am their true fan since. And I encourage you at least to try to investigate some other ebooks. Perhaps you'd enjoy them and it could save you a few bucks.

I'll bear it in mind, John, but I loathe touch-screens because I have the wrong kind of fingers, I think. They tend to go mad when I use them, which is why I like my old one. Its buttons have worn shiny with use!
