I haven’t started 3 of the sub-series either. Losing interest in a particular sub-series is why I like reading the books in order too. Keeps things fresh.

Welcome Dana. Whoa. 100 books is a lot of books. I'm reading one right now you might like. It's called Goblin Quest.

Finished Maskerade in July. Pratchett's charm was back in this book for me, but I felt like a detached observer rather than a participant. Despite enjoying specific scenes and turns of phrase, it took me forever to read. He changed POV a lot - quite often - and quickly. The older I get, the harder it is to set down one and pick up another. It exhausted me quickly. Every POV change was an excuse to take a breather. It probably doesn't help that I mainly read while on an exercise bike. Which is also exhausting.

I definitely had that feeling during the middle of the series but it got easier as I got deeper into the series.

Hey Liam, Great job. This is such a long series. I know Pratchett has his sub-categories. Can they be read this way and if so in your opinion which one was the most enjoyable for you?

I would guess that's probably the more common way of reading them. Reading them in publishing order, and less than halfway in at #18, there are a couple of sub-sets I haven't even begun yet, but my favorite so far is the City Watch. The first in that set is Guards! Guards!. I also really enjoy Rincewind so far, but I think I'm more of a minority there. His first book is the first book - The Color of Magic.
