Baylin Crow | 3 comments I have noticed a delay in my book's review section. The first time I noticed was a few weeks ago. When someone left a review it had been 5 days from the date shown on the review. Today a new review showed up but the date next to it is April 4th. Am I misunderstanding something or is this a bug? I keep a pretty close eye on my stats and they don't always match what is currently going on, for example I had one reader show up in want to read and currently reading at the same time. This stayed the same for several days. Any info is appreciated!

Nevermind, I think I have figured it out. When this happens it seems to use the date added to their shelves if they have not marked the date when they finished it on their shelves regardless of the date of review.

I googled it so that I could use the right words:

In computing, a cache /ˈkæʃ/ KASH, is a hardware or software component that stores data so future requests for that data can be served faster

The GR book pages are "heavily cached" meaning that newer data might not appear for 24-48 hours.

Michael Timmins | 4 comments I have a review that the reviewer changed it from 4 stars to 5 stars. it shows when I click on his review, but on my book page it still shows up as 4 stars.

This also sounds like a caching issue. If it doesn't correct itself after a few days, please email us a link to support (at) goodreads (dot) com.

Lisa Cronkhite (lmcronkhite) | 9 comments I have a problem with delayed reviews too. On my stats it says I have a review from 7-21 but it's not showing up. It's on FIX ME. Can someone refresh my page or something so it's up to date?

Thanks.

Susanna - Censored by GoodReads (susannag) | 137 comments I could refresh ratings, but I don't think that would result in a review showing up out of the cache.

Lisa Cronkhite (lmcronkhite) | 9 comments Yeah, it's still not showing. Thanks for trying though!

Jaclyn (jaclyn_w) | 417 comments Lisa, I'm now able to see the review when viewing your book page. At present, it's the third one listed under Community Reviews. Due to group rules, I'm unable to link to reviews here – if you're still having trouble can you please email us at support (at) goodreads (dot) com as it will be easier for us to help you through that avenue.
